Check in was fairly easy until I had to put a security deposit down in case I stole a towel or broke something or was too noisy or had too many people in the room. It made me wonder if I was staying in a safe area. The room smelled real bad, cigarettes or something. I've had better bed when I was deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan. What is it with shower heads set for people 5 feet tall? The carpet was so stained I didn't want to take my shoes off. I will not stay at this place again!

We were looking for a safe and comfortable place to stay in Camarillo while visiting relatives and Days Inn absolutely fit the bill. Our room was reasonability priced and we got what we expected, clean but somewhat older and worn. Extra amenities included a hair dryer, one cup coffee maker, iron and ironing board, and mini fridge. The beds were extremely comfortable with three very comfortable pillows per double bed. The location is easily within walking distance to restaurants and shopping even for someone who has bad knees as do I. We did not take advantage of the free breakfast so can not comment on it. Days Inn is not fancy but you get what you pay for and, in our opinion, well worth the price for what we got. Would definitely stay again.

This place was the perfect location for what I had to do in the area. Access to freeways and stores is perfect. Now that we said that let's get to the sad part. Carpet could use a decent shampoo job and the mini fridge wasn't exactly cold. Forget the freezer part. The bathroom is in need of some major refurbishing. The sink hot water knob leaks big time on the counter. Better use a towel to keep it from flowing onto the floor. In the tub the hot water knob is coming out of the wall. The shower head either needs to be replaced or soaked in CLR overnight to get rid of the calcium build up. Due to this there is almost no real water pressure for a good shower. Beds were comfy and the sheets were clean. Only other issue for some might be the La Bamba music that played until around 11pm. Growing up next to a freeway and train tracks I really didn't have a problem falling asleep.

I had booked a nice hotel at $99 a night (I had just stayed there three months earlier and knew it was nice) for five nights in Simi Valley while I needed a room for seven nights this trip.
When my wife learned of this, she wanted to help me out and went online and found the Days Inn Camarillo. The pictures on the website show a sparkling, clean room. She also knew friends who had stayed here a decade earlier and enjoyed their stay. Canceling that room in Simi Valley turned out to be a bad decision.
I arrived at night but immediately had a foreboding as the property looked uninviting and dirty. I had no other choice though and hoped the room would still be nice and clean.
It wasn’t. It is dated, the carpet is old, frayed in places and has multiple large stains. The first time I turned on the bathroom sink after brushing my teeth, the water tasted horrible and I spit it out quickly and the drain then stopped up and stayed that way overnight until maintenance repaired it the next day. The condition of the bathroom is so uninviting that I couldn’t bring myself to even take a shower. I found a nearby gym and have used their showers each day.
I’m trying now to figure out what to do. I’ve been so busy with appointments that moving to another location hasn’t been possible but I may can swing that in another day or two.
The only positives are that the room is large with a lot of table space so that’s where I’ve placed my bags as I don’t even want them touching the filthy carpet; the bed itself is clean and comfortable and the Wi-Fi works good.
It’s too bad that pictures on the internet can be so deceiving!
I decided not to tell my wife because I didn’t want to cause her stress but she flat out asked me about the room and I had to tell her the truth. She felt so bad.
My advice: Don’t stay here!

We reserved two non-smoking room. When checking in they gave us keys to what they claimed were non-smoking and the sign on the front door or each room clearly did say non-smoking. HOWEVER, both rooms reeked of stale cigarette smoke. The second the door opened we were hit with an overwhelming stench that keep us from even stepping into the rooms. We asked for different rooms and after being shown four different rooms, all with the same stench of cigarettes we decided we couldn't stay there. We asked for a refund and were told that we had to deal with the manager. After a week of fighting with the manager and his false claims and lies we were finally able to get a refund of 50% of our money. Don't stay there! Unclean, horrible odor, dishonest people.

If the room was free I wouldn't stay here again. Dirty, run down rooms. filthy carpet, disgusting bathroom. I have stayed all over the world including hostels and this is the worst room ever, including 3rd world countries. Wifi never worked and according to the employees, it never does. Breakfast, what a joke, no juice, no fruit only frozen microwaveable items, you did have a waffle maker. This place needs to be torn down and rebuilt. better accommodations would be sleeping on the side of the freeway. I will attache photos so you can see I'm not exaggerating. I did reach out to the owner and nothing was done. It was the first time I felt dirty coming out of the shower than going in.

The room was dated and needed a ton of work bathtub was stained, bathroom door paint was peeling off and light switch looked like a child installed it. Guys across the parking lot were loud and were playing music loudly from their vehicle. I paid more than half of what I paid for the room in taxes and recovery fees, I will never stay at this hotel or motel again you couldn’t pay me to stay there. Bed was lumpy and extremely uncomfortable. A shame I stayed in this place a few years earlier and it was fine that’s why I chose it, I would never recommend this place to anyone even my enemies. I was bitten twice by something in my sleep.

We were very disappointed and did not feel safe. The property facility and the guest rooms were run-down and in need of major repair and rebuild. It was a "cheap" and seedy motel to say the least. The guest rooms had splintered door jambs, as though they had been broken into. Carpets were dirty, bathrooms were stained with leaky faucets, and had black mold on the ceiling, including termites falling from the ceiling. The AC was very loud/noisy. Upon arrival, several single males were loitering on the premises and we felt very "watched". There was a lot of noise and screaming outside, late into the night/early morning hours. Needless to say, a poor night's sleep. The lack of maintenance, quality control, and security has made us very weary of staying at Wyndham owned hotels/motels of this capacity in the future.

let me start with the front lobby front door had a RED TAG stating stop all illegal work on premises.
the parking lot and staircases and hallways are being blocked by 50-60 men hanging around drinking and smoking, making rooster noises all night long. The room was not vacuumed, the bathroom sink had a crack, the shower pipes wanted to jump out of the wall when being used. no body seemed to care what was going on. The bed still had the indentation of someone laying tere before we got there. felt very unsafe..... i want my refund. and till this day no one has reached out to me after giving me a claim number.

I stayed in room #132. The room is big, good size room for 4 people. The mattresses are way too soft that I'm sinking into the bed. Mattresses need to be changed. My biggest complaint is the shower. The shower bar that holds the shower curtain is falling apart. After I was done, I was wondering why was the entire floor completely WET. The shower bar needs to be fixed.

I recommend you contact Days Inn Camarillo directly to ask them if this would be ok w/them. Also, it has been my experience that amazon orders often aren't delivered when they reportedly will be. More often than not, my orders arrive late, up to 1 to 2 months late, or not at all. You may have checked our + left before your order arrives.
