What a great stay! We enjoyed the quiet beachside location and walking the boardwalk. Loved the blood orange soaps and lotions provided, the plush towels and really comfy bed. With allwegies, I also appreciated the shutters instead of curtains that don't keep light out and are rarely clean. We used the fan in front of our open window in early...

This was our second time staying at the Blue Dolphin. We stayed about 1.5 years ago when we got engaged. Cambria is a super sleepy little beach town and we usually only stay 1-2 days on or way to/from Carmel or Monterey. I love the Blue Dolphin Inn. The ocean front rooms are soooo nice. Updated, super clean, very comfortable,...

We had a very short stay here (just an overnight stop). We booked an Ocean View + Patio room. It was well appointed. The patio was large but shared with the two adjacent rooms and was right in front of the main road (which separates the hotel from the beach). Therefore, it offers very little privacy. However, it is a...

We didn't want to bring down this establishment's score here on tripadvisor so we gave it 4 but we would not return based on 2 main things that just didn't work for us. One, no air conditioning in the rooms. Most people are fine at 80something degrees however we tend to run hot so it felt very uncomfortable to us....

First, we appreciate your thoughtfulness and comments. Cell and wifi reception is definitely a Cambria issue. It works most of the time, it doesn't work some of the time. We have the best available option but yes, it can be difficult if being unplugged is not an option. It is an issue we are constantly trying to resolve. And you...

Let me start by saying that I usually stay in 4 or 5 star establishments but in Cambria I found none. I picked Blue Dolphin because of the reviews here on Yelp. I stayed for 3 nights in September. At arrival I met Jill and Christina to very professional ladies. They seem to run the front office area. Both very...

A very small Inn not far from the Hearst Estate. We stayed there in the Spring and returned once again. We elected for the oceanfront room which allowed us to keep the windows open and enjoy the ocean air and sound of the surf. The boardwalk ( not Atlantic City but more of a six foot path) along the Ocean...

My husband and I spent one night at this cozy little Inn. We had a wonderful time and we loved Cambria. We had dinner at the Black Cat. The bed and pillows were comfortable and the sound of the waves crashing was relaxing. Breakfast was delicious. We can't wait to return!

Beautiful, clean and lovely location. Bathroom had heated floors! The bed was extremely comfortable; the room was very tastefully decorated. The boxed breakfast wasn't as good as I hoped but places in town are a short drive away. Great place for a relaxing getaway!

We stayed here for one night and the setting was idyllic just across from the sea. It was in a row of similar properties . There are 2restaurants within easy walking otherwise you have to go into the town . As we arrived at 7pm we opted to walk to The moonstone grill after having freshened up . We went...

“ We were there when it was windy and raining and unable to take advantage of the patio area for breakfast. Our room did not really allow for a place to eat. There was a desk but it had so many knick knacks on it (for décor) that we had to move it all. I would declutter the room so guests have areas for their own items during there stay. Seemed to be decorations everywhere, night stands, desk, kitchenette area which weren't needed and actually hard to work around. I am not sure if all the rooms have this much in it. That being said we would definitely stay again as that is minor!! We were VERY Happy with the hotel over all and truly enjoyed our stay!!”
