We were going to Hearst Castle and Cambria is a favorite spot to stay. The Palms Motel seemed like a interesting place after reading the reviews. Very inexpensive. It was clean, had a coffee pot, refrigerator, requested a microwave. The manager was very accommodating, and location to town, just a few blocks away. We would definitely return, and I'm one...

Stopped here for one night after travelling down from north of Monterey. Should have driven down the Big Sur but had to take a detour on highway 101 due to the bridge on highway 1 being closed. Very basic accommodation but clean. The room was very small and didn't appear to have any heating or aircon. The motel is close...

Where can you get a relatively large clean motel room with free cable TV, and high speed wifi for less than $100 in California? Well this is the place. We wanted an reasonable place near the Hearst estate and the Palms fit the bill. The manger was extremely friendly and helpful. It's also within walking distance of several restaurants and...

Like a trip back in time, maybe the 60's, with clean, simple, small but modern rooms and bathroom in a quiet, edge of town setting. The outside, out back, fire pit and lawn lounge area is a nice touch anytime day or night to just hang out and relax. One night or a week, I think the value is there.

Cambria Pines is a clean, no frills motel. It is an easy walk to restaurants and shops. The room has wood flooring which also makes it seem tidy. The shower is tight and towels are a bit rough and light. The staff is friendly. It didn't matter because we were there in the spring, but there wasn't an air conditioning...

Clean room. Old fashion style roadside motel. Don't expect alot of amenities. It's clean and close to town. You can walk to the town of cambria. Not much in town to do, but the shoreline is beautiful.

We stayed in this motel for one night on our way to LA from San Francisco. Cambrian first of all is a gorgeous town and a great stopover place. If you are within a budget but like comfort I implore you to stay at the Cambria Palms Motel. It is so clean and well maintained but such great value for...

Don't judge this place by its cover. We loved it! Only stayed overnight on our way to Hearst castle. It is very clean and spacious, close to "town" and friendly staff. It's very quiet and peaceful, it has a feeling of being in the country but it's not. I would definitely stay here again.

While in the area to visit Hearst Castle we happened upon Cambria Palms motel. This is an older property at the edge of town complete with a little garden area for sitting. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming, providing information to us about our close proximity to shopping, dining, and the annual elephant seal gathering. The room was clean...

We stayed two nights in February. Right after a longterm rainfall the place was a bit to humid. The heating helped quickly. No hairdryer. But clean room and friendly service. Location is absolutely ok. You can get bikes for free. Ok location on low budget.
