Amidst the beautiful pines there lies a jewel. It is the J Patrick House in Cambria. It was peaceful, a beautiful location and the hospitality unlike any I've known. We had a late check-in that started with a hand-written note on the door with something akin to a treasure map to our room including parking directions, keys and chocolate chip...

We had a wonderful stay in Cambria. The JPH was very quaint and cute and the hosts were wonderful. We love the close proximity to town and the walk to town via Cambria Pines lodge was beautiful. The breakfasts were enjoyable, the wine and cheese a nice touch as well as the cookies and milk before bed. The coffe as...

We were greeted warmly by Syd, who mentioned that her daughter shared my name :) Wonderful breakfast and snacks, lovely, cushy bed with lots of magazines in the room to read through. Syd also mentioned the perfect beach, Moonstone, on which to fly our kite AND chose the most amazing restaurant: Wild Ginger. Kudos to J Patrick for a superb...

We loved our 2 night stay at The J. Patrick House. It was everything we expected. Even though it was July, the weather was cool enough for us to take advantage of the fireplace in our room. We enjoyed the serenity and peacefulness of the room so much, that we ordered take out and ate in the room each night!...

Having read the reviews on trip advisor prior to booking our one night stay I was looking forward to the friendly welcome from J Patrick House. However, this never materialised as we dared to arrive after 6.30 in the evening, when we arrived at 7.10 there was a note on the door directing us to our room and directions to...

I had such a great stay at the J. Patrick House in Cambria. The staff was excellent, professional and friendly, the room was really clean and cozy (we stayed in Kerry room). It is in a great location, up in the hills but still really close to route one and the downtown area. My favorite memory was walking in the...

We totally enjoyed our two night stay in Cambria. Our main purpose was to visit Hearst Castle in San Simeon and we were only a 15 minute drive away. The entire facility is totally elegant, with special little touches, and the two breakfasts we were served were far beyond what we would have anticipated. We also enjoyed the afternoon wine...

Nice place to stay for a night. Ammenities are nice but limited. Service was good with exception of being rushed during breakfast . We were enjoying our 2nd cup of coffee and visiting with 2 other couples when we were asked if we could move into the living room so that someone else could have our table when there was...
