My 9yr old daughter and I spent 4 days at the hotel. It was our 1st trip to CR and I wanted somewhere that would allow us to experience CR's flora and fauna without going too far from Liberia, and before we headed to nosara....More

Nice large, airy & clean rooms. Pretty basic really & only a bench outside - could have done with a couple of deck chairs really. Restaurant area was very nice with reasonably priced drinks. Got a pizza and chips (about £10) - portions were massive...More

Yes, you should be able to. You will be a short drive to both park entrances. The Santa Maria entrance is open until 4pm, Sendero Catarata until 3. There are a couple easy to get to waterfalls on the Santa Maria side (unless the road has been fixed you will need four wheel drive with high clearance or you will need to walk in). Save Las Pailas Sector for the next day, the waterfalls are a harder and longer hike but well worth it. There are 7 trails within the park, the map that you can see online with an easy Google search. I loved my time here.
