We landed in Paro on 25th Feb 15 and Phuntshok Juney is the place we stayed. We had seen very good reviews about the place but we had not much expectation. To our surprise, the place was very very clean calm with good view of the town and dry bathroom and it is centrally located which makes hike to to...

Stayed at this hotel on 30 Nov on my return to India. Well placed in the city away from the crowd, the hotel room was pleasantly warm during the winter season. Wifi didn't work though, but as experienced in many other cities like Thimphu, the internet connection in Bhutan is never trustable.

I would strongly suggest to fellow travellers to avoid staying in this hotel or in Paro City. You can DO a day trip to tiger nest and Paro city monetary from thimpu. You will get far superior hotels and restaurants in Thimpu (1 hour drive from Paro) at a lower cost.

Its a fine hotel to use a base for exploring Paro. We found the rooms to be very inconsistent in facilities and amenities - we had to check out a few rooms before deciding on one. The room we chose was quite spacious and reasonably clean, the corner ones are bright with windows on two sides. However, there is no...

I stayed in the Phuentshok Juney Hotel in Paro. This hotel is dark and cold. I need to ask a second heater because it was really cold. I needed to transfer to another room because the electrical outlet is not working in my first room. The front desk is nice but I think she don't know what she's doing. She...

We stayed here three nights in April 2014. Very clean, spacious and modern rooms. They had two room heaters which kept the room very warm and the sheets were clean and the bathroom had a geyser which gave enough hot water. We did not use the restaurant though. Overall a clean and neat hotel room to come back to when...
