This little hotel is run by a Japanese couple. The man speaks poor English and just about gets by. His wife hardly speaks any English. They are friendly and helpful. We had an en-suite room, which is nice and warm. The hotel is about 500m from the main ski lift where you buy your skipass. You can walk there easily, but many of the other hotels in Annupuri are closer. But Annupuri is so small that it really does not matter. The best bit is the 24 hour free coffee/tea and chocolates, something we really appreciated after a day on the slopes. Breakfast was great - a balanced hearty plate, and a help yourself fruit basket. There are bread and cereal also, if you fancied them. We did not have dinner there, although you can eat there if you give them prior notice. There is free wifi, which is reasonably good most of the time. Overall, this little pension is very pleasant and very good value for money, given how expensive everything is in Niseko and Japan in general.…
This place was lovely. While it might have seemed slightly overpriced, it does make sense for its proximity to the lifts. Our clean room had two twin beds plus more room in the loft, so there was plenty of room for drying out wet ski gear. A fantastic staging point for backcountry and resort missions alike. We loved the breakfast, and the free tea and coffee were nice too. Super tasty variety to start the day with, although we never tried the dinner it looked good. Fire fast wifi. The Onsen/shower downstairs was interesting and perhaps not ideal, but the pleasantness of the rest of the place made up for it.The couple who owns it were very sweet to us and the husband even drove us to the bus stop at the end of our stay. Be sure to try out ChoiChoi food truck across the parking lot, too!…
Our room was nice and large, clean, comfortable, with good beds, a good TV, and free wi-fi. Breakfast is excellent. Location is great - easy walk to the lifts. Annupuri is much, much quieter than Hirafu (literally nothing going on at night) and a bit isolated from the other areas, but if you're okay with that, then Pension Bellary is decent.
This pension is very well placed within easy walking distance of the Annapuri gondola and lift base. The lovely Japanese couple who run/own it are very kind and welcoming and have achieved a great balance in the accommodation and breakfast menu between giving a flavour of Japan whilst providing for western preferences and customs. Extremely good value for money in an area where other accommodation is often over priced. No hesitation in recommending at all and hope to go back again.
A mate and I stayed here for 3 nights. Breakfast was excellent and the rooms and facilities were super tidy. Excellent location to Annupuri! Very reasonable priced rooms and easy hotel to get to. Walking distance to hot springs, bus stop to Hirafu and food. Will defiantly be staying again
Owned by a lovely Japanese couple, who were super friendly and accommodating. Facilities were clean and homely. This place had a really nice atmosphere, it was lovely going down to breakfast (really good!) and talking with the other guests about plans for the day and which runs were open, where the powder pockets were. 5min hike up the hill to the Annupuri gondola. Shared bathroom was freezing - big unheated space. There is a single shower, but sometimes you have to wait to use it. The hot water is HOT with good water pressure. Really good wi-fi. Annupuri is quiet, there are some excellent little restaurants and food options. However, if you want a big night out, you'd be best staying in Hirafu. The shuttle bus back to Annupuri takes 30-45mins, and the last bus back is around 8:30pm (cab was $60aud).…
We stayed in a big group for 4 nights from Feb 7 - Feb 11 and everything was great, the rooms, the location, the food and the hospitality. The owner Oi-san was extremely accomodating, especially considering that we had to change our booking a number of times, add dinner to our initial plan, cancel a room because some of our friends could no longer come and so on and he was always very understanding over the phone, and then in person when we arrived. Both dinner and breakfast were excellent and filling, there is also coffee, tea and chocolate in the lobby at all times, at no cost. Wifi available and express delivery too, as we sent our skis to another location, Oi-san kindly helped us and took care of the delivery after we left once we paid and filled in the forms. Location is very good, just 5min walk to the Annupuri ski lifts and gondola and you can ski down in 1min (although perhaps not the best practice). There are a few bars such as Lucky Fingers around, so while it is quieter than Hirafu, you can still enjoy apres-ski. If you have a car, you can drive to Moiwa and nearby onsens. Oi-san also gave us a lift a couple of times to the gondola, so our experience was more than rewarding and I would happily come here again.…
Twin room for 2 guests is $160. Payed for 7 nights. I payed full amount on checkout. He then charged my friend the full amount again when he checked out saying we both had to pay a grand. Such lovely people but who does that!! I feel bad writing this but it's no wrong!
Oi San, the owner was great. His English was limited but enough to get buy. The place had a homely feel to it. The breakfast was also cooked and delicious. We had a room with an en suite and a view of the slopes. Location is great albeit a little quiet but the bus comes twice an hour so we got our fix of the pubs in hirafu. We thought it was great value and extended out stay to 10 nights. Thebheating was adequate and the bed comfy. I can appreciate the comments from the previous reviewer as he did snap at a couple of people for talking in the lobby during dinner and the people he snapped at were only staying a couple of nights so maybe he looks after people staying longer. I also rated the boarding at annapuri.
Came to the accomodation 4 in the afternoon. Guy seemed "nice enough". Gave us the keys and pointed to another Australian couple and said "they tell everything." Umm ok. Later that nigh I was sitting in the lobbie area near the free coffee on the coaches doing some work on my laptop when he come barging in and starts acusing me of making too much noise. I tried to explain that it was not me and he just started yelling " no no no! You go to room! You go now!" I was in absolute shock. The following day after a day on the slopes, I come back and meet another couple in the lobby area where there is music being played, a sitting area, a tv etc. I start asking hey there day was and I was greeted by him again."YOU NO TALK YOU GO TO ROOM." By far the worse customer service I have every received. The ONLY thing this accomodation has going for it is its within walking distance to the slope. The food in area is extreme expensive and of low quality and the customer services sucks and it's overly expensive.…
