Very cozy little place, with very friendly staffs you can treat them like friends, great place to meet with other skiers/boarders. Location is a bit off, but close to shuttle bus stop. Interior is nice and warm feels like home, very cozy bed.

Location - Good. A short walk from bus stop. But isolated as is typical in Niseko. Very few restaurants nearby. Hilton Niseko is a short drive away. Food - Average. Some days good, some days just okay but I appreciate the inclusive breakfast because of few nearby restaurant options. Cleanliness - Very good (except for the shoe area which needs...

I stayed here for 3 nights at the end of December for a solo skiing trip. The staff in the house are super helpful and all very chill, they were willing to help with everything and welcomed hanging out with everyone staying at the lodge. The atmosphere in the house is great, I ended up meeting several different people while...

I stayed in Hooting Owl for 10 days in January and had an absolute blast! Wicked lodge, staff and breaky! My dorm room was cosy and the lounge upstairs was very homely! See you all again next year with more friends!

Stayed here as a solo traveler mid December and absolutely loved it. The staff were friendly, the rooms were clean and well fitted; I was very well looked after. Transport to the slopes and main part of town was very straightforward. I loved coming back from a full day of boarding and unwinding with other guests upstairs in the lounge/dining...

I stayed at Hooting Owl for 3days, and I could say that it's the best part of my 6-day trip in Niseko. I had a really great time there. Staff and guests are very friendly. They are very attentive and accommodating; this place made me feel at home. Breakfast is served with lots of love. Will definitely stay there again...

“The Hooting Owl Lodge is quiet on most nights but don't expect total silence. It's a pension lodge after all with people coming and going at different hours and looking to have a bit of fun on some nights. Choose the downstairs rooms for a quitter evening when people are socializing at the bar area. If it gets a little loud, I suggest joining in on the fun.”
