The Brown Hotel appears to be an unfortunate victim of what would appear from it's review history to have been to open not too long before the start of the pandemic. It deserves to be first port of call for those looking for a simple hotel in the Krabi area. I'm sure it will be when tourism picks up. Still very new in appearance - pristine and well furnished. My room had a small balcony overlooking the street below. Even better - this balcony is entirely sheltered from the intermittent rain showers Krabi was enjoying when I visited. Breakfast wasn't available on the night I stayed, but there are options nearby.

A lovely hotel in an excellent hotel, right in the middle of Krabi. Walking distance to the market, as well as restaurants and bars, although sadly, not much open due to the downtown in tourism as a result of Covid-19 and the borders being closed. The hotel is modern, very tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean. Staff are friendly. The bed was comfortable and the shower was great. Breakfast unfortunately, was not, but that’s the only downside. Was very disappointed to be given Nescafé in a hotel of this calibre, and the toast was so sweet it was inedible. Also, bear in mind there is no elevator, so I’d suggest asking for a room only one floor up. That’s what we got and it was fine. My advice would be to skip breakfast if you stay here, we paid extra and it definitely wasn’t worth it. Other than that, a great hotel and we would definitely stay again.

This is a truly lovely hotel. From the first impression, evreything is as it should be. There is a very nice welcome when you arrive and the room was something special. Not a big room but perfectly proportioned. The bed is "Japanese style" (i.e. on the floor) but extremely comfortable. The room is spotlessly clean with a very nice bathroom. And there are nice little touches such as the fresh coffee - a delight. The hotel is also perfectly positioned - just a short walk from the Night Market and the River. There are places to eat and drink all around. It was a real delight staying there. Hopefully we will revisit. Highly recommended.

I spent three nights at this lovely hotel. The hotel is located in Krabi town. A good number of restaurants and cafes around. Location is perfect. 2minutes walk to the night market. 4 minutes to the river with a relaxing atmosphere early morning / night. I loved this boutique hotel. Super friendly Front Desk. Amy was a delight to deal with. She meets and greets with a smile. Escorted me to the room which was a nice touch. The room is spotless. Smells nice. The decor of the hotel is simple yet very nice. Everything works really well. AC, Hot water and shower. It has a safe box. WiFi also works well. Highly recommend it if you in Krabi town. 20 minutes ride from the airport. Tuk Tuk 🛺 is around the corner. If you into local adventure get them to support the local community and have a trip to the Tiger Temple or the cave it even airport. Every little helps. Krabi steels everyone’s heart 💓 Loai ( Lee live in 🇸🇬)

We stayed here for 1 night on our way to Koh Lanta from Chiang Mai. Service when we arrived was lovely and we were able to book a transfer to Tiger Cave Temple through the hotel that was cheaper than what outside services were charging. Amenities in the room were great and had everything we needed for the night. Location is right in the centre of the town so it doesn’t take long to get anywhere by walking.
