Beautiful hotel with rich design and history. Nice rooms and bed and bathroom shower. The staff was friendly in our limited time there. Great location in the middle of town. There were quite steep stairs to access the rooms so may be hard for older or mobility challenged guests.

We stayed here a couple of years ago and it was pleasing to see that it is still just as beautifully well maintained. The rooms are so well done, as is the whole building. If you struggle on stairs, note the spiral staircase and ask the staff to carry your bags for you. The staff are friendly and fun to talk to. The location is an easy stroll to the night market on the river front and the boat tciket office. Breakfast is cooked to order and is tasty and plentiful.

Just a short, 2- night stop at this old colonial hotel started our island hopping off very well, indeed! Good location, great directions to the best for two people to enjoy. Gourmet coffee prepared for us in the lobby before a catered breakfast. Sure wish the kitchen did Biscuits and Gravy. Premium standard fare and a price to match! Don't look for a ride. These guys will set you up. Tiger doesn't yet know how to drink tequila, but he is an eager and fast learner. Didn't want to poison his trip home on that scooter or I would have gladly given him more shots. Cheers to my new friends! Steven will make a longer stop next year😀

We booked this hotel as a stopping off point on the way to the islands. From the outside it does not look any different to many other places in Krabi, however once you are are inside the place is astonishing! It was once a government residence before becoming a hotel. It has been beautifully refurbished with antique furniture and pictures. Our room had a four poster bed and a balcony with a view of the river. But throughout the whole place there was a sense of style and elegance. The staff were very helpful in recommending restaurants and bars to visit. I would highly recommend this hotel if you’re staying for one or two days in Krabi on the way to somewhere else or intending visiting Krabi for longer.

Pros: Good location, central to food places & weekend market Clean & spacious rooms Breakfast included. Staff friendly & helpful. Lovely balcony to sit & admire area. Nicely decorated. Good value Cons: Breakfast not much choice. Breakfast times limited so if on early excursion may miss. Main Krabi town does not have much to do. No lift and stairs are spiral so difficult to get to rooms with heavy luggage. Very high floors & stairs so may find difficult for people with mobility issues.
