If you travel with your dog, you deserve to treat yourself to a stay in the most pet friendly hotel in the world. As a bonus, Carmel is absolutely charming with shopping, fine restaurants, world class golf, and an ocean of fun.

If you travel with a dog, this is the place to stay. If you don't, it is still wonderful. Weekends are very crowded, so we will visit again mid-week when we hope it is a bit quieter! Although Carmel has many great restaurants, and the beach is a short walk, you could spend all of your time in the hotel... More

Magical lunch experience in the garden with puppies . The food , the ambience, and the most attentive staff made for the most wonderful rest bit. At one point during our meal I went inside to use the restroom. I happened upon a room with a baby grand piano and inquired at the desk if they had entertainment scheduled for... More

Cypress Inn is centrally located, a great bang for the buck, and teeming with a terrific and helpful staff. The inn is pet friendly, obviously great for those of us who travel with pets. That said, when my wife and I return to Carmel, we will no doubt stay at Cypress Inn, even without a pet. Frankly, aside from seeing... More

A stay at the Cypress Inn offers guests a warm, homey atmosphere in an absolutely beautiful Inn. Unlike most hotels there are an abundance of common areas ranging from a very large, cozy living room to an outdoor patio. There is plentiful food and beverage service that can be enjoyed in all the public spaces. The staff is very friendly... More

One of the coolest hotels I've been to in a while. Randy and Bryan were great at check in. The room, although maybe a little dated, is made up by the character of the hotel. Great location, great staff, fun atmosphere...loved it.

Locally owned and operated. Pay attention to detail. Friendly staff. Great location. A locals favorite. The bar is a hoot at night. Stay here for eight hours and see every breed of dog known to mankind.

We had a wonderful stay at the Cypress Inn. It is a great location, charming setting and the staff were very friendly. We loved the courtyard for drinks and coffee and popovers for breakfast.
