I booked this hotel through Priceline. When we arrived, they put us in the wrong type room-we were supposed to have two queen beds-only had one. The hotel blamed Priceline and so Priceline reimbursed us the difference, since no other rooms were available. That was only the beginning... see attached picture. Lots of holes, patched paint and items missing from...

A really lovely place to stay with large , clean and comfortable rooms - a small communal balcony in a picturesque setting. Breakfast is a continental delivered to your room in a sweet hamper. The location is great for exploring this unique little town.

They are in the middle of a bad remodel. The problem is they are placing people in rooms that are in the middle of renovation. Including textured wall that are unpainted, holes in walls, plastic on lamp shades, that clearly say remove to avoid fire. Manager is as rude and unprofessional as you can get. No refund offered after they...

We stayed for one night at the Clarion this past weekend. It seems like they are in the process of refurbishing the rooms (which is needed) but are doing things little by little. Our bathroom was updated but not anything else. Our friend's room looked like it was a little more advanced than ours in the updating since their furniture...

This was my friend's first visit to the Carmel area and we were truly disappointed in the place we stayed. When they said breakfast was included it was not really a breakfast that you could enjoy. When we got back to the room after dinner we were looking forward to watching my favorite TV show and we found no major...

We wanted to be close to all downtown Carmel, and it is, but the decor of our room was, frankly, shocking. Bizarrely painted walls and very tacky furnishings. But we didn't come for the affordable room. It's location to shops, wine tasting, restaurants, the beach and attractive neighborhood is very convenient. Staff was very nice, just needs tasteful updating.

We stayed here for one night as part of our California road trip. Good location, about 10 minutes walk to the beach, albeit down a steep hill. The room we stayed in was very comfortable, especially the bed. The bathroom was small but had a decent shower. The breakfast basket to our room was reasonable, nothing spectacular but when you...

Very good location. Only two blocks from the main street with all the shops and places to eat. Check in was easy. The room was a basic motel room. It was clean and the bed was comfortable. One thing I did not like is the continental breakfast was served in a basket at your door at 8:15 am. We are...

The staff upon ck in were efficient, polite, and professional. We arrived at 3 pm and our room was ready. Parking is a little tight. Our room was upstairs. The room had a TV, coffee maker, hair dryer, balcony, and a table and two chairs. The room was clean and bathroom as well. California king and a new shower. The...
