We loved our two nights here. The location is amazing right on the main road in Carmel and just a few minutes walk from the beach too. We stayed in the Sea Otter room which was really lovely. Nicely decorated, very spacious and comfy bed....More
We booked our fantastic suite 3 months ago through a suggestion by our daughter that if we're traveling to Carmel , this is the place.!! Nicely equipped, large rooms ...and a fireplace that they actually encourage you to use.

I was wondering if the "cottages" at this Inn are individual stand-alone cottages, or attached together with the other rooms?

The Hansel & Gretel and the Bluebird cottages are for sure. I stayed in the Hansel & Gretel and it's big with a fireplace and even your own yard area, the Bluebird looked similar but a little smaller. Those two are right out... More
The Hansel & Gretel and the Bluebird cottages are for sure. I stayed in the Hansel & Gretel and it's big with a fireplace and even your own yard area, the Bluebird looked similar but a little smaller. Those two are right out front and stand alone but the others I believe are connected but it won't feel like a cluttered hotel and there are a couple separate buildings so you might only have another room on one side.
