I have stayed at the Sea View several times over the last 20 years and I can say that it is the nicest B & B I have ever been to. The staff are amazing - warm and helpful. No, there is no view of the sea but you can hear it from every room and that makes for a...

We had booked the Sea View Inn for 2 nights but loved it (and the town) so much that we stayed an extra night. The lovely ladies that run this B & B are extremely friendly and helpful. They even put out an Aussie flag on their porch to welcome us! Parking is free on the street. The afternoon tea...

Having stayed at the Sea View Inn for two nights in August 2011, there's nothing obvious to complain about. The staff were polite and sought to please. Our room was spotless when we arrived. The Inn is close to the beach and within short walking distance to the city shops. I feel obliged though to point out the following: 1....

Dear JL81, Thanks so much for taking the time to provide feedback on your stay here at the Sea View Inn. The Inn was built well over 100 years ago and at that time it was sitting in the dunes looking out at the Sea. In the intervening years the gorgeous Carmel forest has grown up effectively obscuring the view...

Such a cute place! Very clean, good breakfast. Great location. We loved getting up early and walking to the beach. Also wonderful to relax on the front porch and take in the charm of Carmel. We stayed in the top floor and shared a bathroom with another room. Was not a problem sharing, just the shower nozzle is not in...

Her ideas for even more fun was even better. We we so impressed with our bathroom we decided we wanted to redo ours using most of the ideas and finishes....

We stayed in one of the smaller rooms and it was actually bigger in real life than in the photo so plus there! The location couldn't be better for carmel, lovely street. Our hosts were very friendly and breakfast was good (ESP the cinnamon buns!) Two negatives - the walls are quite thin and the heating pipes made a banging...

We had stayed at the Sea View Inn for a night only and wish we had stayed longer. Our room (4) was small in the size (and we knew that) but very beautiful, cozy and comfortable, perfect for our stay. Bathroom was private, and very charming in its old style, and everything worked just fine. Attention to detail here means...

Thanks to positive TA reviews, we enjoyed a four-night stay at the Sea View Inn. It's a comfortable B&B, with a gracious staff, in a convenient location -- 3 blocks to the beach, and walking distance to restaurants and stores in town. Plenty of free parking on the residential street -- we never had to park beyond the house next...

The Sea View Inn is on a quiet residential street in beautiful Carmel-by-the-Sea California. The vibe of the B & B is very upscale, yet homey and relaxed, no pretentiousness. The staff is very helpful, corteous, and efficient. The rooms are tastefully decorated and comfortable. It is certainly a B & B worth checking out next time you are in...

We have been staying here steadily for over 6 years and lways feel like we are arriving home. We have stayed in every room and each has it's own harm. Breakfast is always yummy with a selection of cereals, breads, and fruits. We have not had any bad experiences with fellow guests - they have all been a pleasure to...
