We brought our 2 dogs and were on the first floor and the room although a little small and i would have liked to have a fireplace, it was still an awesome place to stay. Love the wine and cheese nightly and the breakfast was great. We would definitely come back. The location is awesome, and overall just a really...

Don't expect a lot. No turndown service. No special surprises. The bathroom door is difficult to keep closed. No bureau, no fireplace, just 2 drawers in the closet for your things. The shower is attractive, but the water pressure is very low, so it took a long time to wash my hair. The bed is comfortable.

Nice location but don't offer coffee makers in the room, breakfast hours late, shower scalding hot then lukewarm many days in a row. Nice courtyard, location is great, but not worth the money! Could hear people above us walking and talking.

After our first stay we assumed all rooms came with a fireplace. When we checked in this time and realized this was not the case we found the response at the front dest a little condescending and incredibly unapologetic. We realize we should not have assumed...but, there is a better way to handle such a misunderstanding

Hi Sean I'm sorry that we were not able to provide you with a fireplace room and that the front desk agent was not demonstrating the compassion and empathy that she should have. I hope that you will contact me directly and I will make sure that you are provided with wonderful accomodations. Thank you

We really had a nice visit at the Hideaway. The room, a junior suite, was very comfortable and well appointed, although I always love to have a bath and none of their rooms duo, apparently, The breakfast was very good for continental, with delicious granola, yogurt and fruit salad and a different egg dish each day. Coffee and tea were...

Hi Nancy I'm pleased to read that you enjoyed you stay with us. We do have rooms with baths but unfortunately in any of our suites. It is hard to say which is more popular the breakfast or our "happy hour". I apologize for any improper behavior demonstrated by the staff member you mentioned. I hope that you will come...

Very disappointed we could NOT come and couldn't cancel due to circumstance. My husband got sick from a flight and couldn't go anywhere. When I called they told me that they had to check me in regardless. if we came or not. Poor customer service.

For a couple of hubdred dollars you get: No coffee machine in the room Skeleton staff at the front desk who are run off their feet and calls go unanswered or to an answering service This is no frills taken to the extreme. This is nothing more than a basic motel masquerading as a cosy inn. The location is used...

Our room was very nice, clean and comfortable. The lounge area was a great place to meet with our friends and the complimentary breakfasts were very good. Downtown Carmel, with all of its shops and restaurants were only steps away. I would highly recommend this hotel.

We have a great three night stay at The Hideaway. We wanted a place close to downtown so we could walk to shops and restaurants. Room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was simple and good. Would recommend as nice place to stay.

The Hideaway was a nice little place to stay during the Pebble Beach pro am tournament week. It's just a two short block walk to the shuttle stop that the city offers. The breakfast was nice and simple with some warm food options, and cold food options. The happy hour/wine hour was a nice touch as well. I would like...
