First, let me say that this is campground is beautiful!!! Lots of trees, grass and activities to keep everyone busy. Awesome dog park! Pros: 1. Beautiful sites with trees, grass, picnic tables, fire pit, BBQ 2. Amazing trees. We do not live in California, so it was nice to see all the different trees and flowers in bloom in December....

We are from Australia and hired an RV with our 2 kids aged 10 & 11 and we stayed at KOA San Diego at the end of our trip and it was with out a doubt the best RV park we stayed at. We stayed 4 nights from 29-2 Jan and my kids loved the activities of BINGO, Rock Climbing,...

This was my first KOA camping experience and I was not really sure what to expect. I grew up camping and one of my first camping memories involved my dad pulling us out of our tent in the middle of a rainy night right before it was washed down a ravine somewhere in Pinnacles National Park. We have always looked...

This was our second stay at San Diego Metro KOA. We love it. It's very pretty, well laid out, and convenient to all of the activities San Diego has to offer. Our doggie especially likes Kamp Kanine. the snack bar is a cute beach theme and the food and coffee are great. Everyone who works here is really nice, very...

There are no woods, hiking or anything like that. The highway is definitely in hearing, and behind our "Komfort Kabin" was a large...

Wonderful place to stay. Staff is excellent and grounds are safe and attractive. Lots of activities for children, on site restaurant with good pizza and reasonable prices. Easy to find, close to freeway access and sites are easy to park in and mostly level.

We have been travelling all over the US camping and this KOA is absolutely fantastic. Firstly the staff are super friendly and nothing was too much trouble (they even printed documents for us with no charge), the tent areas were shady, each had fire pit & tables. The campers kitchen was the best we've ever seen, huge gas grill, electric...

We stayed in a deluxe cabin with our three kids during our stay and it was fabulous. Our kids loved the bunk beds and loft and we loved having our own room. It was a great alternative to a hotel room and allowed us to have quality time each night around a campfire. The kids also really enjoyed the onsite...

We had a great time at the San Diego Metro KOA. We recently stayed here with our 5 year old & our small dog & all had a great time. The campground is clean & the staff were all super helpful & friendly. There is a TON to do with kids--our son absolutely loved it.
