We arrived at Osyth Beach Park and was greeted with a incomplete building site where we were to park the car so it was visible from our caravan. The outside of the caravan front door was littered with cigarette butts, we hoped for some improvement upon entering, unfortunately the overwhelming stench of damp dog welcomed us in. The gas fire...

Stayed here for a weekend for my sons 10th birthday. The staff and entertainment team are really friendly,we had a fab time. My husband and son went swimming but didn't last long as the water was too cold. I'm sure in the summer it will be warmer, hopefully. I'd bring your own food as the shop isn't that big. I would...

Recently stayed here with my wife and 1 year old. We had friends staying on the park too and were hoping for an enjoyable weekend break. Arrived - Caravan needed a clean, as per most of the reviews here the caravans are cleaned but not really left clean. Night 1 - We could not get the heating to work on...

Thank you for taking the time to write to us about your recent stay, I was sorry to read that you encountered problems on your holiday. The heating systems in caravans can be confusing especially with newer centrally heated models, I’m sorry this caused you distress we do however have a member of our team on every evening and staff...

Visited with the family a few days ago for 3 nights in a gold+ caravan. We got a very warm welcome from the staff. We were given 84 Gainsborough Close. Upon entry the caravan oddly smelt of fish. It wasn't overly unpleasant and we got used to it but they tried to mask it with freshners which just made it...

Good Points: reception staff were very friendly and helpful nothing was too much. Bad Points: the caravan was filthy. All the shelves and the TV were thick with dust, the kitchen sides were covered in crumbs and the bedding was badly stained. No food served in the day, you had to walk for 15 minutes to the sister site. Not...

The whole entertainments team were happy and always ready for chat, swimming pool was well attended by life guards at all times, the bar staff were run off their feet at some points but...

We all were very excited to get away though I am not so good on motorways so I was very nervous. We arrived on site early knowing gold plus checking was at 2pm but took a chance at reception to see if I can get booked in but the blond lady said yes we were early and it's not ready...

Had a great time at the holiday park. It was lovely. To be fair we couldn't have picked a better week hottest September week in many a year. The caravan was nice, clean and fairly standard I would guess. Only downfall to the caravan was crushed stone pathway to the caravan steps. The product was a recycled type 1 sort...

St Osyth Beach Holiday park near Clacton-on-Sea is just that little bit different. The large indoor heated swimming pool comes complete with a flume and a shallow area for younger children but never seems to be overcrowded. The entertainment venue has a real family feel to it and you're never far away from the stage for the live shows which feature at weekends and during the peak season. ... more   less
