From the start I like the Yosemite gold country lodge, why? …It feels like home Its not the biggest or is it the most convenient The lodge is in the small (and I mean SMALL) town of Coulterville (pop119) about one hour drive from Yosemite park. The room we had was big for a motel with two beds, TV, coffee...

First room was not made up. I had to ask for another room. Second room was very nice, but bathroom had lot of mold and there was still a used towel from the previous guests. Bed was very comfortable. I liked the artificial fireplace very much.

We've spent there 2 night and I would stay there again. Best service, there're paying attention and you get much more than you expect. The rooms are spacious, neat and clean. There is a BBQ-Place outside, where you can bring tour own stuff or you can get perfect fresh made dinner for almost no price. If you look for a...

This establishment was booked via an Expedia representative for being "close" to Yosemite NP; that being said the only room left was the suite..price was good and we were booking last minute so I jumped at it. Upon arrival we discovered the suite was half of a mobile home and if that wasn't bad enough we decided to make a...

Nice little place in the middle of nowhere, the town is more like a ghost town but has some residents. The hotel didn't look like much in the pics but it was cheap so we booked it anyway and we where pleasantly surprised. The rooms where I'm great condition and very clean, I think it was recently renovated. The Bed...

It is definitely not luxury, modern or cool... And Coulterville is just about a ghost town. But this one the best options at a fair rate you will find around Yosemite. Plus - the owner is nice and his awesome dog Tracker is really sweet. Get the story of Tracker when you are there... Big BBQ outside is great too....

We stayed there on our way to Yosemite as we couldn't find an accommodation in the park. The lodge was much better then anticipated, clean and large room with kitchenette and bathroom. Nice and clean ground that keeps improving and is well maintained. Breakfast is basic but generous. Friendly and nice host. Would recommend in the same situation.

If I could give this location a 0/5 rating, I would. We arrived at the Yosemite Gold Country Lodge on our anniversary, a night we got engaged, excited to sleep in a quiet, cozy room after 3 days of backpacking through Yosemite. We booked the hotel room online while at dinner and drove about an hour to reach the location....

Nice on-site manager who cooks delicious dinners which guests can purchase nightly. Dine outdoors on the patio. Rooms are recently remodeled. Mattress was too soft for my taste. Quiet. Popular with guests from outside the USA. Have to drive about an hour to get to Yosemite National Park.

Loved the quaint feel of the room. And the host was very friendly. Seems like he enjoys talking with guests. My only problem was the wall mounted air conditioning unit was over the bathroom counter so when I was getting ready it would blow in my face. It was also loud and took awhile to cool down the room. Breakfast...
