Very comfortable accommodation in a beautiful quiet location just off 395 between Bishop and Mammoth Lakes. Brock, Diane and Gibbs provide a lovely breakfast and really helpful travel, hiking, dining and sightseeing advice. There's a lot to see within a couple of hours drive including some truely beautiful hikes. The accommodation is very comfortable, well equipped and spotlessly clean and...

Thank you Brock, Diane and Gibbs!!! I waited for a very long time to visit Rainbow Tarns. Typically when you wait that long the realization never lives up to the build up created in your head. This was the complete opposite! Rainbow Tarns was far beyond what I even imagined! Where to begin...the breakfast, the grounds & house, Gibbs (the...

This is a unique place in a unique location with unique owners, who is such a pleasure to chat with. We stayed there in August this year and was wonderful - keep going! We received a warm welcoming, amazing tips, great starry night,

Few places have surprised us the way Rainbow Tarns did. We wanted to stay near Mammoth Lakes but without the major resort-town feel. 15 miles down the 395 we found it. Rainbow Tarns is extremely peaceful and beautiful - located in the heart of the Eastern Sierras, close to some of the most photographed canyons, hiking trails, and within an...

A great place to stay after being on the road all day. Rooms were clean and breakfast next morning was delicious. Grounds and garden were beautiful. We enjoyed sitting on the verandah drinking our morning coffee.

Rainbow Tarns is nestled a few miles south of Crowley Lake. The B&B has three rooms for guests, and provides an amazing breakfast each morning as well as wine and cheese in the afternoon. Waiting to say hello when you arrive will be Brock and Diane and of course their dog Gibbs. Rainbow Tarns is a perfect romantic getaway for...

After driving many miles through the desert, this was a wonderful place to cool off and relax. Our hosts were welcoming and the lodging, perfect. Breakfast was ourstanding. The B&B has an interesting history that was shared upon our arrival. Also nice was the treat that awaited after we got settled.

What wonderful hosts Brock and Diana (and Gibbs the dog) are. A warm champagne welcome, comfortable rooms, amazing home prepared breakfasts, but most of all lovely afternoon company as snacks and a bottle of wine are enjoyed. Thank You.

What can I say? From the moment we arrived until we left we were made to feel like part of Brock and Diane's family. We stayed in the Rainbow Room which is beautiful and had welcome drinks and snacks on the private porch outside. Gibbs, the family dog, was a great friend during our stay and loved herding the ducks!...

We are friends with the owners here from before they purchased the B&B. Our first visit was for our 40th anniversary, and we waited too long to go back. We spent 3 nights in early October for the fall colors. There are 3 rooms and we stayed in the Rainbow room, which is the largest and has lots of views...
