Just finished our second stay here in a 1 bedroom condo and had a nice stay here. Located at the base of the Eagle lift at Mammoth mountain, Juniper lodge is extremely convenient to the slope, with nice views of such if you are lucky or book early I imagine. We never have had the view rooms, by the way....

On a recent visit to the Mammoth Lakes area, I had the privilege of staying at the Craftsman-inspired Juniper Springs Lodge. The one bedroom condo unit I stayed in was immaculate, well-maintained and had a good sized balcony for enjoying morning coffee. The unit was well appointed (we even had bathrobes and swimming towels), daily maid service and fireplaces are...

Four years ago I would have given this place 4 stars. Now 2..... its in major need of some TLC its getting run down, beaten up. It's also near NOTHING, except for the baby green slopes if you ski, and its a pain to ski to. Staff unfriendly, and the parking just sucks, skiing the last day you stay there?...
