Great location rooms all have a small kitchen and fridge. Walk at the door and your looking at the marina. Nice restaurants all around the marina. Located 5 minutes from laguna beach . Took a boat ride to see the dolphins and the seals. Loved it

Called I believe the Travel Lodge, Prices were quite high, asked if he knew anything in the area more reasonable, and was referred to Dana Point. The room was $99.00. Trust me, we had paid $110. 2 nights previously for a Hotel 6 or "whatever" A TOTAL DUMP!. Could not find the TV remote on arrival (VERY serious issue for...

There are not many places in California where you can stay on the coast for this price. This is not a 5 star resort and the price reflects that. The rooms have everything you need, the bed is comfortable and breakfast is thrown in. Everyone we spoke to who worked there was lovely.

Bathroom fixtures are really old and worn and look disgusting. (See pictures) The walls are thin to the point of easily hearing conversations next door, bath fans are noisy and so is the refrigerator. They don't have any door closers so people can slam the door to the room next to you and keep waking you up. They have a...

This an odd review. First and the most concerning are the pictures of the bathroom. They are absolutely NOT of our hotel. Secondly, we do have a Manager on Duty at all times. In fact, there is a resident manager on site, a upper level sales manager 7 days a week and the General Manager works six days a week....

Just spent 9 nights here, visiting from the East coast. I was quite pleased with this establishment. First, its not the Hilton its a Marina motel so these are motel accommodations so I judge/review on this basis. Very nice, clean and comfortable. Really LOVE the location as well. At night from the balcony I could hear the sea lions barking...

This place is such a gem in the middle of Dana Point. MY fiance and I celebrated our anniversary here over the weekend of Nov 19th and it was simply beautiful. Here's a quick run through of the hotel. LOCATION: This spot sits on the Dana Point Harbor which means you have a full dock full of boats nearby giving...

My wife and I stayed here last week while looking for homes in the area. With all of the traveling we do, it was nice to be greeted by the friendly desk clerk who was very helpful with suggestions on the local fare. Our room, overlooking the marina on the second floor was a basic but clean room with a...

This hotel is a great value for being situated right of the Harbor and next to Baby Beach. The hotel is now owned by the county and managed privately and always being maintained and upgraded. It's general atmosphere is nothing grand or luxurious but really perfect if your main objective is to enjoy the water sports nearby. The renowed surfer...

WOW the location could not be more beautiful! Also easy walking to lots of dining options, convenient to Pacific Coast Highway, the beach and the freeway. The staff are super friendly - totally making up for the fact that the rooms are little tired. The bathrooms especially are really in need of an upgrade. Honestly, the price with location and...

Have stayed here several times. The hotel is a great location for the whale watching near by. The staff is more than helpful. The breakfast is ok, could be a lot better. Within walking distance to many fine shops.
