This was a B plan as we call it but should have been an A plan as the food was great an lots of it an then the desert was to die for as we say. Service by Louis was amazing just coming often enough to make you feel welcome an not feel overcrowded.

I made reservations to stay at the Roadhouse Inn and had to cancel my reservation two weeks before the checkin date. They totally screwed up and my credit card was charged anyway for the stay. I was supposed to have been credited for the charge, but considerable time has gone by and it has not shown up on my statement....

Servers were very friendly. The food was cooked properly, salads and burgers were delicious and they have a bakery - we had the fruit tart for dessert and it was delicious It's a cute little town across from the beach. You can dine inside or out. They have an inn upstairs but we just ate at the restaurant..

...okay, so the positive first. The missus and I found a Living Social Escape deal in Davenport (discounted 2-night stay, out-of-season, $30 dinner credit, $10 breakfast credit, and $20 coupon to local winery -- not bad!). Arrived on a rainy, blustery afternoon (turned out the entire 2-day stay was the pits weather-wise -- figures), and spent the evening in Santa...

My boyfriend and I stayed a night here midweek between Christmas and New Years. It was extremely well priced, but go into it knowing that this place is cozy and comfortable, but it is as basic as it gets. The room was well heated, albeit by a small space heater, and there was no tv. The mattress was firm, but...

Really nice atmosphere and our waiter was super cool and friendly. The food was tasty but the portions were small for the price. We paid extra for the truffle fries which, frankly, was not worth it. Couldn't taste much truffle flavor. Was a nice easy stop bu probably wouldn't return.

My husband and I live in the Santa Cruz mountains and decided to just go on an overnight get away. We picked the Davenport road house inn because it was close and semi reasonable $150 a night. We got the only room with a king size bed. Omg, what a terrible, gross, dingy, musty inn. The room smelled and was...

Good service, good food, casual place. Views outside were great. Went there for lunch. They had interesting and tasty specials. Burgers were great. Good beer selection and small but good wine selection. Waitress was very helpful. Prices were terrific as the portions were a good size. Fun place. We were driving through so I don't have any tips on the...

We had a weekend getaway and decided to stay in Davenport -mostly because of the location close to the beach and many hiking opportunities. I had read the earlier reviews and have to tell you all something: keep the price - quality ratio in your mind. If you drive 10 miles down south you're in Santa Cruz. Nice beach, nice...

Went there for wedding anniversary dinner and it was a great choice among the three eateries in the little [wide spot on US 1]] town of Davenport, about 10 miles from restaurant-rich Santa Cruz. The food was super, generous enough to allow us to split the meal. The Santa Cruz Amber mini-brewery beer/ale was a smooth surprise. The only drawback...
