It was a nice and quaint hotel. Fairly small. The rooms are like studio size. Staff is very nice. Morning breakfast is very good. If it's crowded it may be noisy but other than that it's a great place.

Clerk was very nice, somehow we got one bed instead of 2 queen beds. We did the reservation on my iPad. The clerk came right over and brought us a roll-a-bed without us asking for it. Got the room for 89 per nite with AAA. Room looked clean, but old. We stayed 2 nites for a tournament. Everything was ok,...

Let's face it. This is a not a good quality place. My room was relatively old. The moquette was old and quite dirty, I am also quite sure it was not cleaned before I checked in. There were some pieces of paper and even some hair pins on the floor. A strange smell in the room like if windows have...

Over the last year I have been traveling to Davis frequently and now am staying exclusively at this hotel. The location is great. You can easily walk to UC Davis or downtown. The rooms are sufficient. Basically I only sleep and shower in the room so who needs anything fancy. The breakfast is basic (tea, coffee,OJ, bagels, english muffins, yogurt,...

Good news is location, price, location, price. Walkable to UC-Davis and to downtown restaurants and shops. Room was adequate, tho could stand some upgrades. Very nice flat screen TV, free parking and free wiFi. Breakfast was adequate too. Bad news...no desk to work at in my room. Lighting could be better too.

Excellent price for downtown Davis, and not a bad property at all. But the condition of the room is a little below par: shutters on window were in bad shape (I was actually in this same room about a year ago and they were already broken then -- thought they might be fixed by now) and the carpet is badly...

August 2016 will be our 3rd time staying at the Davis, CA Econo Lodge. The Office staff is extremely helpful and friendly, Our room was clean, the housecleaning staff is top notch. If we chose not to have them clean the room, they asked if there was anything we needed for the day, The Econo Lodge is indeed convenient to...

Very centrally located, right in between UC Davis and downtown Davis. However, I give the property a big downgrade for its unnervingly loud AC. Mine was actually switched off, but those of my neighbors were still very annoying (and I was here over Halloween, i.e. end of October, when it is not hot any more, so I don't even know...

I stayed at this hotel whilst attending a conference. The room was nice and clean with a comfortable bed. I cannot fault it for the price. Didn't have a bad nights sleep whilst here. The breakfast was basic but well stocked.
