The walk to the beach involves getting down a cliff or walking a mile to the North. The pool and jacuzzi are nice. Easy walk to nice restaurants. Convenient to UCSD. Indoor parking with elevator. Two buildings. Check out the hotel map, only some units have unobstructed

Stayed here for a "Girls Weekend". Very comfortable with 2 queen beds, a mini-kitchen, and lovely patio by the pool. The staff was very accommodating. Property is conveniently located (walkable) to downtown Del Mar and the beach. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Where to start with this warm-hearted wreck of a place? Can a hotel be both charming and decrepit? Comfortably cozy and uncomfortably out of date? A spot you want to revisit and one, on second thought, you never want to see again (or the reverse)? Well, yes, if it’s the Indigo

Hi Sig79, thank you for choosing us for your stay in Del Mar. We are happy to hear you found out hotel to be charming! It is my greatest pleasure to reconfirm that we are in fact giving our rooms the repairs, starting at the beginning of November 2019. The rooms will have a fresh beach feel and updated furniture to accommodate all the technological devices. We look forward to welcoming you back with the new room product and the same great service! Respectfully, Andrea - Assistant General Manager

We stayed for 3 nights here in January. The hotel is well located and quiet, even though it is just off the main highway. The room we had 316, was dark and dingy, with a very small window and poor lighting. The room was also very small for a 3 night stay. I would only ever

Hi Shirley-AndyB, thank you for your recent stay with us. We are glad you enjoyed our location, we are truly in the beautiful area of Del Mar. On the other hand, please accept my apology that the room was not up to your standards. We do have several options with different room types and I am sorry to hear that you found the room 316 too dark. Based on the availability, we are pleased to offer different room types and upgrades (rooms with the ocean view and / or private patio) for a small extra fee. If you decide to give us a chance again, we will do our best to accommodate your preferences. I presonally wish you and your family all the best in 2019! Andrea - Assistant General Manager

A quaint hotel near the ocean. Outdoor partment style set up, almost like pods with 2 separate rooms set under a porch area. My room was toward the front and you could hear some traffic. Other reviews talked about large rooms. These rooms must be toward the rear of the

I believe they have the items you mentioned. I don’t recall if they had a coffee machine. The room details may give you the answer to your question.

Some rooms have private balconies, and some have chairs outside the door that open to common areas. We had the common area and it was plenty private, people didn't walk that close to the rooms. There is a small restaurant but we didn't go eat there; I'm sure they have coffee. It's a short walk to traditional coffee/espresso bars. I'm sure you'll love this hotel but look at the room first. Some rooms are much larger and brighter than others.

there are no private balconies. the second floor of the main building has a few tables and chairs outside some of the rooms. there is also an area on the second floor where you can watch the sunset. there is a restaurant onsite for coffee as well as coffee makers in the rooms.

Sorry, I don't know the answer to either question. Just call the hotel. They are really friendly and helpful.
