We were coming off 8 days on the Pacific Crest trail and rented 3 rooms for the night, 5 people total. Not fancy but clean, comfortable, well located and has everything you need under the circumstances. And the low price included a continental breakfast. We had a mix-up with booking price which they corrected rapidly. A good place to stay... More

Took my 10 yr old nephew on a long road trip starting in Portland. Dunsmuir was a stop on the way to Mt Shasta, Crater Lake, etc. after many miles of hiking so we wanted a comfortable, convenient place to stay. Great little find! Nice to support a family owned business, too. Minutes from Mt Shasta. Enjoyed it. Town is... More

This is the best place to stay in Dunsmuir. The rooms are very clean, newly decorated and appointed with clean, comfortable beds. The management is very kind, helpful and accommodating. The breakfast selections are delicious with great coffee. You are also within walking distance of good restaurants. You'll be happy you stayed here.

The bottom line here, right away: A well-managed, clean, and affordable accommodation that is ideal for the traveler who is (a) on a budget, (b) would love to be able to get out of the car and just walk into town, and (c) has an eyes on Mount Shasta and touring the surrounding area, but is unsure about the touristy... We stayed here on our drive from Washington to California to break up the long trip. We arrived at the inn at 3am in the morning to check in and were greeted by the owner, Nawin, with a smile and friendly face, even at the early hour! The room was very clean and comfortable. The location of the inn is... More

This small family owned motel was very comfortable and clean. The owners checked us in and were very nice. The room appeared to be freshly painted. Everything seemed updated. We were very pleased. The price was right too. We decided to eat breakfast in the small downtown and enjoyed that as well. This town feels like a nice place to get... More

If you are looking for a simple, inexpensive, very clean establishment operated by friendly and considerate owners, this is the place for you. Mind you, it was just a sleepover stop on a long drive, but plain and perfect for the purpose. Receives this rating due to price, functionality, and cleanliness. Owner remembered me from two years before! Will stay... More

This is fairly listed as a two star motel. Given that, our experience was that it is a five star example of a basic place to stay. Our second floor room was immaculately clean and comfortable. Given that It's right on the main street of town, it was remarkably quiet. My wife and I both slept well. One has to... More

Hotel rooms are basic, next to the road, noisy in the morning. Internet hardly moves. No amenity within walking distance. Price is reasonable. If all you need is place to sleep, this is alright. If you expects more, then you may be disappointed.

We opted to stay at the Dunsmuir Inn and Suites for the final stay of our vacation. We were greeted by a very nice couple from India who own the hotel. We were given an upper level room which was actually very quiet. It is an older hotel, but all the amenities were what we had hoped for. Considering how... More
