I visited in November 2016 with some friends and we ate breakfast at the Cedar Lodge restaurant every day of our stay. I don't usually leave reviews on tripadvisor but the service received by our waiter Shawn was excellent. He was very efficient and friendly, even though the restaurant was very busy he did such a great job as the...

Stayed at Cedar Lodge for 2 nights in September. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and given the proximity to Yosemite the price was right. We ate breakfast both days at the restaurant and really enjoyed it. We had burgers from the bar one evening and they were quite good as well. Across the road in...

Pros: One of the closer hotels on the HWY 140 entrance into Yosemite. Next door to bar with ample choice of food. Cons: $10 per device per 24 hrs for wifi. Even the hotel desk advised against getting it due to the slowness. Low water pressure. Required multiple toilet flushes. Slow-filling cistern. Sink faucet was low pressure as well. Bunch...

I'm familiar with the Cedar Lodge's history, reviews and location, so our recent 1-night stay over New Year's Eve wasn't a huge disappointment. On one hand, I think they get a bad rap for the location (lack of wifi, cell service - hey, it's in a remote river canyon in the mountains); on the other hand they don't do much...

Stayed at Cedar Lodge in a Deluxe Queen Room during the Christmas Break at end of December 2016. Hotel was chosen because there was no other rooms in the other property which is closer to Yosemite. Booking was made very last minute (2 days before trip). Overall, for the rated star of this hotel (2 star), the experience we had...

We stayed here after a day of exploring Yosemite-the location was great and the price is a good value for where it is located. Our room was spacious and clean and easily accommodated the three of us. The only option for dinner anywhere nearby was the restaurant on site...we ordered chicken fingers and a sandwich and it took nearly two...

A bit expensive but worth staying so close to YNP. Breakfast not included. Rooms were basic but very clean. There was no network in entire YNP and El Portal. Internet was very costly at around USD 10 for a day. A nice beautiful restaurant and bar available in the middle of mountains at Cedar. But they get close very early...

Great value for being close to Yosemite. Nice comfortable room. Stayed over Thanksgiving weekend 2016. Indoor pool was closed but had free evening hot chocolate and cookies. very quiet. Much better to stay here than inside of Yosemite. Room price much cheaper than staying within Yosemite, yet very close to Yosemite.
