Hotel's Favourite
A clean modern hotel right near LAX. With all the traffic, we joked that it might have been better to walk to the airport. Rooms were spacious and well appointed. We were in the club floor. We also enjoyed the fact that there was a bar with small bites. Our one negative is that there was no microwave…a personal preference. Everyone we interacted with was pleasant. We would definitely and plan to do so next year.

My wife and I were in Los Angeles to visit family in the South Bay and fly out of LAX at the end of our trip. We spent a night here at the front end of the trip, and another at the back end, the night before flying home.
This is a newer property, very nicely finished, clean and with superb staff. At our request, we were given a room toward the back of the building each time because the hotel fronts onto Pacific Coast Highway. Marissa at the front desk did an exceptional job of meeting our needs, even upgrading us to get us into what must have been the quietest room in the building. We didn't hear a bit of traffic or airport noise. We had two breakfasts here. Lots of hot and cold choices to satisfy any family member. Our breakfast attendant was Shirley. She, too, went out of her way to ask about whether we had everything we needed, and kept everything totally topped off so we all moved through the area very efficiently. The smoothies (two different flavors) were a nice touch, unexpected in a quick and free breakfast scenario. All the staff were helpful, but Marissa and Shirley are exceptional.
Parking was only $15 per night, quite reasonable when compared to other LAX hotels where we've stayed in the past. The Hampton El Segundo/LAX is our new go-to hotel in the South Bay. Highly recommended.

I lived in El Segundo just across from LAX for three years and stayed at the Hampton Inn for 12 days, July 1-13, 2020, before I moved out of the area. I did a little bit of hotel shopping before my anticipated move and the Hampton Inn, a newer hotel about 5 years old, was my first choice out of the three I considered. Jaeson at the front desk referred me to the sales director Susan who gave me an excellent rate for an extended stay in one of their king studio suites. I originally booked for ten days, but when I realized I needed an extension and sent Susan an email late in the evening, she responded immediately and ensured I was taken care of. Although the hotel did not have a stove, cookware, dishes and utensils like extended stay hotels, I realized that I never use the cheaper quality kitchen items anyway and extended stay hotels somehow always felt dirtier, so the Hampton Inn was perfect. The room had a separate sink near the refrigerator and microwave, which I really liked—something about preparing food in the bathroom sink grosses me out—as well as space for me to plug in my rice cooker and make food when I didn’t feel like eating out at restaurants. There are plenty of dining choices, banks and a supermarket within walking distance as well. The hotel is in a very safe area, probably because the hotel is surrounded by businesses away from the residential area and there is no overnight parking near the hotel. The staff always made me feel welcome and took great care of me. Thank you, Hampton Inn staff and my apologies for taking so long to write a well-deserved review. I definitely recommend staying here!

As a brand new Hampton Inn, the hotel is just beautiful inside and outside. The lobby was spacious and modern, and they have a bar serving drinks and snack items, which was more than a typical Hampton Inn. There is even a fireplace outside the lobby with comfortable chairs. The rooms feature the latest design and the bed is comfortable with all the typical amenities expected in Hampton Inn. The room is fairly spacious and the bathroom is fine with good shower pressure. The premium WIFI worked well despite a full house. In terms of noise, the hotel is located next to a busy road and the main runway that will also operates at night. The hotel provides earplugs but if you are sensitive to noise, this hotel is not for you.
However, I took off two stars for the problem that hits the hotel that evening, and the less than stellar and rude shuttle driver that the hotel shared with 105 Parking, which is located next door. I am a generous tipper and it has been a long while that I could not even tip this rude man a dollar.
First, the hotel system broke down the evening I checked in and the hotel basically could not issue key cards and check if the rooms are occupied or not. They have two staffs escorting guests to the room. Unfortunately, I arrived at the mini late evening rush, and it took a long time to check in, not to mention the first room they assigned me was already occupied. I know computer breaks down, but the hotel should have automatically offered all guests 10% discount or provided some free drinks and vouchers for food given the less than ideal situation. They are not gaining any good will.
Second, I actually find that shuttle system to be fairly good. Sharing a shuttle with a parking service ensures better frequency and larger vehicles. Unfortunately I was dealt a poor hand. I was picked up at terminal seven and the van was already pretty full. The driver was very rude to begin with and did not even help with my bags. Yes they are heavy but you need to give me a hand because I only have two hands. He refused to carry one bag because it was heavy. He basically let me sort out of the issues with crowded space. At the same time, he did not want me to wait for the next shuttle because he was worried that he would get reprimanded. I will argue that you should not whine to your guests. Guess what, you will get reprimanded now. One disadvantage of this kind of system is that the hotel has little control over the quality of drivers hired by another company.
In conclusion, the hotel really has potentials but just fails short for this occasion. I have already booked Hilton LAX for my stay later this weekend. I will wait a bit before giving this hotel another chance.

We stayed here after disembarking from a 28 day cruise out of San Pedro. Called the hotel once we got off the ship to ask about the best option for transportation to the hotel and Jeason suggested either Uber or Lyft for the best cost option. We took his suggestion and found the rate of 60.00 more than reasonable. We arrived at noon and although checkin was not till much later they did have a room available and were more than happy to accommodate us which was excellent after just getting off the ship. The room and hotel itself were impeccable. The staff more than accommodating. We had a 10:30 pm flight on Sunday evening so we asked about a late checkout and they could accommodate us till 1 pm for no charge or 3 pm with a charge. Even with the discounted price for a 3 pm checkout we opted to pay full price for another full night even though we were heading to the airport for 8 pm. Well worth it. Just after turning in for the night we heard someone check in to the room next to us. We noticed the adjoining room door when we checked in but having stayed in many hotels and actually using adjoining doors ourselves we had no concerns but when the people checked in next to us it was like they were in the same room with us. There is only a single door separating the rooms and you could actually see under the door. Better soundproofing or a better adjoining door system is definitely needed. Initially I called the front desk to complain because the guests as I thought were being extremely loud. They did have a small child so I could understand being a parent myself and usually upon checkin kids are just being kids. Melissa on the front desk couldn't apologize enough and spoke with the guests in the next room. They did keep the noise down but even with them just speaking normally again it was just like they were in the room with us. Really really bad. Melissa did offer to move us but we were settled in for the night with everything unpacked and actually already in bed after a long day so we declined her offer. I did however get the extra blanket from the closet to put by the door to somewhat muffle the sounds. If we could hear them they could certainly hear us as well. Management definitely needs to do something with this issue. Breakfast the next morning was good. The hotel, staff and service were excellent overall except for the noise issue we had a great stay. They did give us a 20% discount on one of the 2 nights fee for the inconvenience. Would recommend in a heartbeat but do not accept an adjoining room unless you want and will use an adjoining room.

My check-in with Cathy was excellent, everyone was wearing masks, hand sanitizers available, did not wait to long, explain all the amenities and surrounding services that are open or closed. Prior to entering my room, it had a clean seal on the door letting you know it was clean and no other people had come in. I did encounter some issues while walking around the room, I was able to bring attention to the front desk and they pay attention to my problems. They were able to rectify the problems and call me back on the phone to check on my satisfaction. Cathy also offered me treats/refreshments for my inconvenience.

I travel a lot for work and I stay at numerous hotels throughout the U.S and abroad, to be honest I rarely ever bother writing reviews just don’t have the time, but Hampton Inn Hotel at El Segundo LAX is worth the time.
I’ve been fortunate enough to stay at and experience the Waldorf Astoria in Beverly Hills to the Five Jumeirah Village in Dubai, these hotels are high class and considered the best options in their respective cities.
Anyway as I entered Hampton Inn at El Segundo LAX, I was very warmly greeted by the Front Office Supervisor Melissa, as she checked me in she very succinctly explained the hotels amenities such as breakfast and parking. My room immediately reminded me of the aforementioned hotels in Beverly Hills and Dubai and no other hotel I can think of to date can compare to those except Hampton Inn at El Segundo LAX, it was like a luxury studio apartment, very clean and modern with warm notes of brown which added to its already luxury feel.
As I checked out the following morning I again was so warmly greeted by Melissa at the front desk, as I entered the elevator to the parking lot, Melissa ran up to me and told me I forgot my parking lot exit pass accompanied with a caring smile behind her face mask. That really set up my morning in a great way. This hotel is my number choice hands down, for it to compare to a highly rated hotel in Dubai you know you have a great deal!

We have stayed many times at the Hampton Inn El Segundo. It’s location is very convenient to LAX and you can use the shuttle to and from the airport or avoid a lot of traffic getting there if you have a car . The staff is great and very accommodating. The hotel is just a few years old and they have kept up the new condition since the first time we stayed there when they first opened. Great indoor pool and workout room. The included hot breakfast in more than adequate with a good selection of hot items. You have to try the waffles. Location is just minutes to Manhattan Beach, one of the premier beach towns in the LA area. Hampton Inn El Segundo will continue to be our go to hotel in the area

Upon arriving, I couldn’t get into the parking garage because the arm wouldn’t go up, so I assumed that I needed a room key. I parked in front and went inside. It was a friendly and easy check in. Because I’m a Hilton Honors member, I received two bottles of water. Since it was hot outside, I asked for two extra waters. And the gracious woman who checked me in said no. ☹️ Parking was easy. However, the door to the elevators is very difficult to open. I can imagine how frustrating a differently abled person would be in trying to get through the door. The room seemed clean, however when I bent over to pick something up off the floor, I noticed a urine smell in carpet. ☹️ It was only noticeable if my nose was near the floor and would never walk barefoot on a hotel room for anyway, so I didn’t ask for another room. The refrigerator works well. While getting on the elevator, Julio let us enter first. It would be nice if each guest/group could ride the elevator alone, but I guess that’s what the stairs are for. Parking was a pain for others and held up the line to get in. After dinner, I was ready for bed. I found a fitted sheet stained with an orange substance. I called housekeeping.... busy. I called guest services..... busy. I called on my phone and Melissa said she’d send someone up to change the bedding. The gracious staff member started to hand me the bedding as if I was going to make the bed. After I explained that I would not be making the bed, he entered and replaced the bedding. This was my first Hampton Inn experience. I’m not sure I’d return.

I visited this hotel for business in August 2020. The hotel is conveniently located near LAX with great options for eating nearby. The overall room was clean and sanitized. I did have a problem with my shower not working. When I called down to the front desk at 5:30 am to alert them, a staff member immediately provided me access to an adjacent room to use. The hotel had a grab-and-go breakfast that was filling and delicious and much better than other hotels I have stayed at recently. This is definitely a hotel I will frequent again.

Breakfast is available from 6:00am-10:30am. I'm not sure if they will prepare a lunch box at checkout.
I am almost sure,that there was no laundry room
All the basic breakfast items. Make your own waffles, scrambled eggs, breads and bagels, cereal, yogurt, hot oatmeal, fruits (bananas, oranges, apples) and coffee. One of the nicer layouts I’ve experienced recently.

For Lyft pickup, look for white column wrapped pillars in green signage marked “LAXit: Taxi, Uber/Lyft, Opoli” at Level 1, Arrivals, to board the LAZ-FLY airport shuttle from the CTA to LAX-it Lyft Lot.
Once you are dropped off at the LAXit Lyft Lot, head to Section C. Once at Section C, please call the Front Desk, 310-322-2900, to provide your mobile phone number and request your Lyft ride.
You will receive notifications through Lyft when your ride is confirmed, informing you of vehicle and driver details. Your ride will be charged to your room, or you may request to pay for your Lyft ride separately.
