I've stayed at the Collier once a year for the last three years and hope to keep up the tradition of cycling the Scott Valley and neighboring hills, and having a great time at the Collier. It's a perfect place for a group of friends with the big well-equipped kitchen & dining room and the wrap around porch. There is...

It's hard to decide which part of our stay was the worst at this hotel. When we arrived and were escorted to our room (all are upstairs) the hotel reeked of body order from the hikers who were staying in the other open air rooms. There is no AC, so all windows and doors are open. Each bedroom on the...

Called in at Etna while on the PCT. Owners were very accommodating and welcoming. The hotel had spacious comfortable rooms and a large common/kitchen area downstairs. There are 4 rooms upstairs, a master with ensuite plus family, twin and a queen room which share a bathroom. Would definitely recommend it.

While hiking the Pacific Crest Trail, we decided to stop in Etna. We were lucky to find the Collier Hotel for our stay. Etna is a 10-mile road walk from the trail and with advance notice we were able to arrange a ride into town from Jeff and Shirlee, the hotel owners. Jeff gave us a quick tour of town...

We loved this place! Beautiful historical inn with great ambience and comfortable without being pretentious. The owners were very friendly, helpful and welcoming. The rates were also very reasonable. I highly recommend the Collier Inn!

My buddy and I just stayed in the large room with en-suite bathroom two nights. We enjoyed the space and the wonderful light. Most guest rooms are upstairs. They have direct access to an enormous porch that runs around the perimeter of the building (you can see it in one of the management photos). It's a beautiful place to observe...

My brother and I had to come up to Etna to take care of some family business. My Dad was raised in Etna so I have family roots here. We needed a place to stay and I found this place on Trip Advisor. They did not have many reviews but the ones they had were decent and the alternative looked...

Sleeps a max of 12. We rent the entire house so that we can use the updated kitchen, living room, porch and grounds. Walk from the hotel to anywhere in Etna then return for a lazy afternoon on the back porch. Keep an eye out for deer- they walk right up the street! Beautiful area with fresh air & view...

The Collier Hotel is a lovely historical hotel in Etna, CA. Clean and well kept. You can rent one room or the whole house. Comes with full use of kitchen, living area and lovely large porch. The managers were great to deal with making arrangements, but are not on site. I would definitely recommend to those who like to have...

Beautiful historic hotel in Etna, very nicely decorated and enough room for a large crowd. Very clean and cozy has everything you need. Would recommend for large parties, family reunions, or even a wedding.
