This motel needs to be torn down. Sadly, the lone woman on duty was quite nice, but the property and "amenities" are so run down and filthy and gross no amount of niceness can make up for it. the rooms have no way to move air around - no air conditioner, fan, nothing - and my room smelled so strongly...

Inexpensive for Eureka. An old motel in good condition. The room is clean. The tv is flat screen. The bed is good. The owners seem quite concerned about keeping out trouble. It is next door to applebees! Hapoy hour without driving!!

This motel is on a main road and we expected it to be rather noisy. In fact it was really really quiet and we had a good night's sleep in a basic but comfortable room. We could park right outside our room, and it was only a short drive to the old part of Eureka for a bit of exploration...

The room was so dirty. The carpet was burnt and very dirty and the furniture had never been washed. The walls were even disgusting.I don't even want to talk about the bed.Do not stay here. Owners were rude.

Small space, but spotless. Quality furnishings. Because of its close proximity to 101 it was a bit noisy while I had the window open. Was in Eureka on business, and the hotel I usually stay at was getting their carpets replaced. Tried its sister hotel and it was old and run down and so were its clientele. So had heard...

If you re looking for the hilton go on down the road. This is a clean roadside motel comfortable non smoking rooms up front, smoking rooms in building behind. Refrigerator microwave and free wifi. Staff is very family oriented and friendly younger ones speak pretty good English while older mom is Chinese mainland and takes slower and longer to explain...

I stayed here a few years ago and decide to reserve the room this time through booking.com. I am quite realistic with my expectation; it is a budget motel, not the mariott. The staff are nice. They give me a fan when I tell them someone left the heater on the night before and no one shut it off. The...

This is a reasonably basic motel at the southern end of Eureka. During a road trip up the Californian coast, I shared a two-queens room with a friend; the room was big enough, and air conditioned. The proprietors are Chinese, and that made communication difficult (explaining what rooms we wanted and all that), and they don't take AMEX (annoying), but...

Unfortunately we drove in to Eureka rather late and got nervous after a few "No Vacancies". We were happy to finally encounter vacancy at Discovery Inn. It became gradually clear to us why Discovery Inn had vacancy late into the night. The staff was friendly, though communication was somewhat complicated by their lacking proficiency in the english language. We were...
