This is my place of choice in Eureka. I've stayed here several times and each time I've been well satisfied. This place is clean, extremely clean; it even smells clean. Not fancy, which doesn't matter to me, but solid. I've stayed in places for twice the money and they haven't come close to the cleanliness here. The beds are comfy,...

Thank you Katy M for your review. We are so happy that we are your place of choice in Eureka and we appreciate your explanation to other reviewers that there is a low crime rate and that we are a small town. Guests will sometimes see a few homeless people and feel uneasy which is actually unemphatic as you put...

The motel is pretty nice, but it's location is a bit odd. I was not expecting to be right next door to a biker bar and across the street from the correctional facility. There is also no A/C in the rooms, which was somewhat uncomfortable. Luckily there was a fan in the room! Overall, a nice place to stay, but...

Thank you Erin H for your review. We appreciate your constructive criticism. Just for clarification, the establishment next to us is the AA Bar & Grill, which is known for the best steaks in town. It is quaint and never is the cause of any disturbances at the hotel. We are sorry that the sheer presence of this establishment caused...

This is an old hotel in a bad part of town. It is across the street from the county jail and there are lots of homeless and tweekers wandering around the neighborhood. We were traveling on motorcycles and had 2 of our bikes leather bags sliced open during the night. Although the motel has cameras in the parking area below...

Thank you jlccaj for your review. It appears you were misinformed that we are a newer hotel by your negative commentary of the age. We proudly tell our guests that we are a true gem to the Historic Old Town district. Perhaps you missed the world famous Carson Mansion, Humboldt Bay and other tourist hot spots within walking distance. As...

We were traveling down from Crater Lake to the Redwoods and weren't sure where to stop for the night. Amazed at the high prices we were seeing we took to chance and booked this place given the reviews. On the plus side it was a comfortable bed and had a nice shower with great water pressure. On the negative side...

Thank you P.j. G for your review. We are very sorry that you found our prices high, however you did visit us during the busiest time of the year. On our trip to the Redwoods, we stopped in Eureka for rest. I booked this motel online weeks in advance. When I went to check in, the manager/owner gave me an upgrade to a two-room suite, which was a nice surprise. The parking lot is a bit cramped, and I noticed a couple of transients cutting through it as they...

A satisfactory motel for a 1 night's stay, even though it is a bit pricey for what it offers (the 4th of July weekend might have affected the pricing). It's right on Highway 101, and the neighborhood is not that great and it was a bit noisy. However, it is located within walking distance to the waterfront and close to...

Thank you Lizzoua for the review. We are happy that you found our establishment clean and convenient for walking. The noise levels may have been higher due to the 4th of July holiday and the prices are higher this particular weekend as it is one of the busiest weekends of the year. We rented a 2 bedroom suite. It was clean and beds were decent but I don't think suite applies to the name. There was not a tv in second bedroom and suite was pretty small but it was sufficient I suppose. Front desk was friendly and helpful with questions.

Our stay in one of the suites was very pleasant, and we felt we got a good value for the money. Friendly service, convenient to Highway 101. Our family of 4 had plenty of room. I had read lots of good review about this hotel so I booked it. It was not worthy the $85 for 1 night. The bed is small. Shower is not hot. Even towel and soap are way too small. Sound is not isolated. I hear people's conversation in the hallway. I was woken up by neighbor's toilet noise. I am...
