We had a great time on our trip to Yosemite and overall would recommend Tenaya Lodge. The decor was lovely, the rooms were clean and beautiful, and the nighttime hike and nature hike were well done. A couple of things that weren't so great: we came during spring break (mid-April) and reading the information on the website made it sound...

Tenaya Lodge and Yosemite fulfilled our expected dream. Postcard scenery, five star lodge. Food, facilities and service were all amazing. The concierge desk gave us great advice on where to go, the restaurants all catered for our coeliac family member, but the outstanding service occurred after we left the Lodge. En route to our next destination we discovered we'd left...

Overall, we were very satisfied with this hotel. Nice, comfortable rooms, good fitness center, decent indoor pool area. (Couldn't use outdoor as it was rainy and cool.) Glad for laundry room as it rained one full day we toured Yosemite, so did a load of soaking wet clothes when we got back. Food is good, but quite overpriced - same...

Beautiful location of course. However ... restaurants are highly overpriced, canned music in outdoor areas is incongruous with the natural environment, walls are paper thin - you can hear every word of a moderate conversation in the next room or hallway.

This hotel was expensive and didn't offer great service. We ended up visiting over Spring Break so there were very few activities to book. We ended up booking a tour at 7am (only time available) which to be fair was great but we also booked Archery and turned up twice to find that they had made errors with our booking...

Tenaya Lodge is a beautiful lodge, great amenities and food, friendly staff. We enjoyed the Discover Yosemite tour with Glenn and the proximity to Yosemite. The room was nice with comfy beds and nice bathroom. Pretty views all around.

Tenaya Lodge is the perfect family friendly location. There is a ton to do onsite or head over to Yosemite. Onsite there is archery, ice skating, walking tours, an arcade, indoor pool, outdoor pool, etc. There are family friendly restaurants. It is a great place to relax and enjoy your family.

We stayed in a premium king room, which is typical of a large resort, with everything you may need, but nothing special. The Sierra restaurant is very good. The Embers restaurant needs a new chef, a new menu, and new waiters. For now, stick to Sierra.

We traveled with 3 kids and stayed 2 nights at this place. I thought it is pretty nice. Clean, cozy, nice decor and friendly people. What I did not like that much is outrageous prices on food ( but hey that's expected at the hotel thats so far from everything) . Pool had way too much chlorine in it and...
