We traveled over the Thanksgiving holiday and booked one of their cottages. The cottage was warm and cozy with a stone fireplace. The scenery outside the cottage was breath-taking. Will definitely go back soon!

I would have given 4 stars to the Tenaya Lodge, were it not for the passive-aggressive young woman who checked me in for my stay. When I asked where the ice skating rink was located (after reading about the ice skating rink on the lodge website), she looked at me as if I had a third eyeball sticking out of my...

For the second year, my family has spent Thanksgiving weekend at this resort. It is wonderfully family friendly and at times seems more like camp. Available for guests are: archery, mountain bikes, guided hikes, indoor pool (which unfortunately looked very foggy so we did not go in this time), an arcade, hot tub, ice skating, decorating competitions, etc. We love...

Great time snow on ground ,makes Christmas time a wonderful time of the year. Everything was great the cottages were clean and well stocked and service was great. The restaurant was good to average a little over priced. Beautiful views of Sierra's, Yosemite close by gate approximately 2 miles from hotel. We stayed in the cottages and not hotel this...

So quiet and not crowded. Room was spacious and fire place was cozy. Breakfast is amazing.Easy walk to the Lodge for meals or activities. We got to see all the Gingerbread Houses from the previous weekend-so cute.

This is our second visit to the Tenaya Lodge during Thanksgiving. Highlights: Thanksgiving buffet and general location. Resort is beautifully decorated for Christmas with lots of family/ kid-oriented activities. Only negative was being told at check-in that resort was "overbooked" and our two queen room had been "upgraded" to a king room. With four people, that is far from an...

This was our second visit. Both times we visited right after Thanksgiving. The holiday decorations are lovely. This second time we brought our our French Bulldog. It was fun to have all of us feel so welcome. There were welcome gifts for her in our room. There was fresh snow, so some of the activities were unavailable, but that didn't...

Excellent property for a family special occasion such as we enjoyed this Thanksgiving. My wife and our two adult children stayed four days. Food tasty and service attentive. Close to the south entrance to Yosemite and important vistas. We stayed in one of the cottages with our dachshund. The pet friendly policy and pet services were big pluses for our...

Dear tawinfrey, Thank you for your comments. I am glad you had such a wonderful visit with your family. I'm glad you like our pet friendly atmosphere. We do try hard to meet the expectations. Thank you again for your comments and I hope you will return for a future visit.

We have stayed at the Tenaya Lode a couple of times now and highly recommend it. It's just minutes from the southern entrance to Yosemite and not far from Oakhurst (maybe 10-15 minutes in good weather), which opens up more dining options. The options on-site are good, but not exactly cheap, which can add up with a large group. On-site...
