I spent six amazing weeks in Nofei Gonen. At the moment I've arrived there with the archaeological group I was working with, I fell in love with this place. The landscapes are breathtaking, everything is green, the air is fresh. I had wonderful relations with the staff, all of them were very helpful and attentive. The room I got was...

We took wooden chalet - it's a very old building and no chance to clean it until the bad smell disappear. Also, there is very friendly reception and very disappointed meals. Location is really comfortable.

We went for a family weekend in gonen in northern Israel. The area is beautiful. When we got to the hotel we were very disappointed. The rroms are dirty and smelly. There was a door missing in my moms room. The price is high (usual for Israel unfortunately...)-700 shekels for a couple and over 1000 for a family. Why can't...

We came with the extended family and though we requested the wooden chalets, the front desk suggested we rent rooms instead since they are larger. They might be large but the rooms are abominable. We paid a lot of money for a place I wouldn't have chosen to stay in for free. The bathrooms were dirty, the showers old, the...

Basic 2 story rooms with shower and toilet upstairs, kettle, fridge, air conditioning/heating and flat screen tv. Some rooms are a long way from reception and involve walking up a lot of steps that are not very well lit in the dark. Food is buffet style and food at both dinner and breakfast were superb with a vast selection at...

Perfect setup for a family vacation in the north. Incredibly accommodating, lovely grounds, great pool, friendly and helpful staff...what more could you ask for? We stayed in Gonen on a family vacation for three nights and didn't want to leave. Breakfast was a daily feast and we did our own BBQ each night right outside our room. Will certainly consider...

We stayed in a nice wooden hut, with two adjacent rooms, a kitchenette, a jaccuzzi and a bathroom. Everything was clean and well taken care off. When we called reception for a minor problem we had with our TV set, a naintenance person came in in almost no time and took care of the problem. A maid had cleaned the...

I stayed at this Kibbutz for 6 weeks in the summer of 2014 as part of an archaeology team excavating the ancient city of Hazor. This is the third kibbutz in northern Israel I have stayed at, and by far the best. It is located near the base of the Golan Heights, a little ways up to give a great...
