The tour we just finished spent the first part of our tour in Galilee. This hotel is right on the Sea of Galilee and you can literally walk right into the water from the back door of your room. The rooms were comfortable and people were friendly. The food was fantastic
I have just taken a group of 8 couples to spend the night at Ein Gev and tour the area - Ein Gev is situated in the most beautiful setting - the hotel was excellent, the staff very courteous and professional and all our needs were attended to within minutes - the rooms are clean and comfortable and the breakfast was out of this world
We were a small group and we spent the night here. Check-in had been prepared in advance and soon we were in our rooms. Spacious, modern, clean cut with a view over the sea. The was a large flat screen T.V, kitchenette with a large fridge, microwave and hob coupled with a large bathroom well fitted out. There are numerous facilities and a well groomed beach. The breakfast, included in our room rate was more than ample. A problem was amoicably resolved by management which left a good taste.
Nice chalet hotel resort next to the Sea of Galilee. Our chalet was small, but comfortable and modern and fine for one night and included a small kitchen area. Patio doors opened onto lawns leading down to the lake - very pretty. A bit of a trek to the vast dining room, which was extremely noisy and busy with various tour groups. However the buffet was fine, with lots of choice at both evening meal and breakfast.
Facilities were nice, dining hall spacious, food was varied and delicious. Beautiful view of the Sea of Galilee. Laundry service provided at a reasonable price. Rooms were comfortable, though decor was sparse with not enough lateral surface area in the shower room. Staff were all service oriented. Only problem was the internet went out in some room group areas within a couple hours of our arrival. In 3 days it wasn’t repaired. However, we could go to registration to use the internet there.
What a hole. This is our second stay here and I am in shock at how it’s gone downhill in the space of a year (and the price has gone up!). When you pay over 2000nis A NIGHT then there are certain basic expectations. Sadly, none were met whatsoever. The room was vile.. falling apart, grimy, badly maintained, not even close to being clean. It’s supposed to be a family room but it’s sparse with old furniture, 2 stinky sofa beds and one double bed. Nowhere to sit, the only table we took outside to make room to move. I didn’t want to touch anything. I had to thoroughly clean it myself before allowing my kids to sit on anything. The balcony was a joke... it seems the room you get is a lottery but you pay the same price regardless. We were supposed to have a sea view but we had a bunch of trees hiding some sort of noisy generator. Let’s not mention the breakfast... because we were there over a Jewish holiday we were subjected to food that wasn’t fresh. No fresh eggs etc.. what we got was dry and tasteless. I’m paying over 2000nis a night guys! Pretend you care!! Last time there was a store so you could get stuff you forgot, like pita, deodorant etc. For some bizarre reason they’ve got rid of the store and opened some useless boutique deli selling designer mayonnaise. Devastated that we came and that it cost us so much money. Like most places in Israel, it’s vastly overpriced and incredibly underwhelming. But we stayed three nights (they wouldn’t let us stay for two nights... greedy greedy greedy) and the kids enjoyed the private beach a lot. I’ll not mention how completely packed it was in June... hardly anywhere to sit, full of families yelling, listening to music and smoking. There are so many better options than this place, do yourself a favour and keep away.…
This is my second visit within a month. Last stay was for 1 night and was nice , this Stay was not great - they are so expensive so one can expect to get a nice attitude from the staff. We were 4 rooms , paid 5600 NIS each, and asked to stay for 1 hour more - only one room - even though the website showed that there are available rooms , George the receptionist, didn’t agree no matter what, was rude, and the cleaning manager stood outside the room at 11.01 t make sure we are packing !! I will not come back to a place that treats its guests , and returning guests like this. They charge you as 5 stars hotel, and treats you like a hostel. Last there was a mouse in the room ! When we left !
We took the new villas by the sea. Cute unit, with small bedroom, kitchette and living room were 3 kids were sleeping, i think it is too small for 3 kids. The unit was not clean, the balcony was even dirty. Also the unit entrance was moody and dirty.
We stayed here 5 nights recently and had a great stay! We really liked our unit that included a kitchenette and living room. Shower seal was poor and so we had to mop our bathroom floor a lot. Beautiful patios with swing. The food in the restaurant was very good as well. Would be great for families!
Amazing views Great location Very good breakfast Couples villa was absolutely great Parking next to the room Little treats: chocolate, mineral water, coffee maker Great Room service and cleaning We went on a black Friday deal so the price was really cheap for what we got. Recommended!!
