During a self-drive trip to Israel (our first visit to the country), my husband and I stayed here for five nights. We stayed in a two-bedroom unit (our daughter joined us for a night) with a kitchenette. We loved being in a rural area up in the hills a short drive out of Tiberias, rather than in the town (which...

My daughter and I stayed at the Shavit Guest House in Arbel during the last week in December. We were going to tour around the North of Israel, and Arbel is well located for that. The place consists of several buildings, each containing several apartments of different sizes. Ours was roomy, comfortable, and clean, and it had a small kitchen...

This B&B does not disappoint. Gefen, Israel, and Sarah put their heart and soul into running this establishment and it shows. The meal we had at the restaurant(cooked by Israel) was the best we had on our 10 day trip. The room was clean, the beds were extremely comfortable, the spa-tub had endless hot water, the Wi-Fi worked great, and...

This was probably the nicest place in which I stayed in Galilee and probably all of my three weeks in Israel. We arrived after having done Kana-Arbil in one day and were exhausted after the grim slog in the dark up the final hill. Israel was welcoming and saw us to our room. The dormitory was three beds in an...

The hospitality from the Shavit family was fantastic. Everything from the welcome to the cooking of both dinner and breakfast was made and delivered with a lot of love. We can highly recommend this wondeful guesthouse on the hillside of Galilee!

Getting to Arbel was a surprise, a very pleasant one. Walking on the garden of the Shavit family is a gift to the traveler and in season, it is full of pomelit, pomegranate, oranges, lemons, and birds. Rooms are cozy, clean and very nicely decorated but dining and having breakfast there is gorgeous, an experience enriched by the personal and...

I recently stayed one night at this guesthouse and it was far to short a stay. You can tell within five minutes of arriving that this is a special place. I loved everything about it! There are so many little touches that make it feel like home. The supper and breakfast we had were my favorite in all of our...

I wasn't sure what to expect when we booked this for our group of 20 people but I was delighted with our accommodations! From the minute we hiked in we were well taken care of by Gefen. We enjoyed the refreshing pool, relaxed in the orchards and gardens and leisurely ate fresh fruit from the trees before eating a dinner...

I was with a group from the USA, who was hiking the Jesus Trail and stopped here for the night. We were exhausted and it felt like we had reached the "promised land" when we arrived. The setting is gorgeous and very relaxing. The food was amazing - the best meals we had our entire trip! Definitely take a trip...

Caution: there are similar guest house names in our location. Our guest house name is "Arbel Guest House Shavit Family." A unique farm guest house which is an attraction that no tourist can afford to miss: the atmosphere, the rooms and above all - the gourmet restaurant. This is one of the best places to enjoy a peaceful rest, gaining your energies for the next day of touring and enjoying the most wonderful dinner you have ever experienced. People say that the shavit guest house is a small model of the Garden of Eden: the trees, the flowers, the greenery, the swimming pool, the view, the air and the atmosphere. Others can never forget the gastronomic experience. The outstanding meat dishes served for dinner, the food preparation by "Chef ISRAEL" in front of the diners, the exquisite breakfast, and finally the secret chocolate cellar. Chef ISRAEL makes his own chocolate in the unique wine cellar aside from the wine variety, the olive oil products and the local honey. Arbel is within easy reach of all major centers in central and northern Israel (Golan Heights-Baines, Acre, Nazareth, Tabor, Capernaum, Tabha, Haifa, Safed, Caesarea, Bait- She' an) only one hour from us.
