I have driven past Patrick Creek Lodge at least 100 times to and from the coast. Only to get at the coast to find the hotels packed and kids running up and down the halls, the restaurants are jammed $500 and 2 days later and i don't feel relaxed. Don't get me wrong I have been there and done that...

I give PC 4 stars solely due to its location and the friendliness of staff. I stayed here one night on the way to visit my brother in Olympia. The setting is exquisite-on the Smith River and convenient on 199, the "cutoff" between 101 and I-5. The place borders a national forest, so there are trails and campsites nearby. The...

I see some reviews that are not so great; so I guess it depends on the time of year maybe...? We are locals and LOVE it at Patricks Creek. They have a great restaurant and bar; everything is rustic and not fancy, but the location is gorgeous and we even saw bears there! It was fun.

Husband and I took a last minute trip to Crescent City, CA and needed a place to stay the night. Stumbled upon this place and I'm so glad we did. Its a pleasant, quiet location with clean rooms, clean bathrooms, and an on-site restaurant and bar. I especially liked falling asleep to the sound of the little creek on the...

I have been here three times in the past and will be there two more times in the near future. I stay at least one night and just enjoy the atmosphere and great staff. The food is great also. Almost a blast from the past.

This place was recomended by a friend and described as "rustic" which i took as log cabin style furniture, big glowing fire in the fire place, leather furniture etc. We were late getting there and received a call that they closed the front desk at 8:30 so they'd leave the keys taped to the window for us. We showed up...

The lodge and it's surroundings grounds are are wonderful. You're right off the river and there is even a lit trail down to the river and an adjoining campground. We stayed in one the motel rooms (#6) and though it was as described in other reviews a bit tired and in need of some updates the bed was very comfortable,...

Stayed here for one night en route from Ashland, OR to the California coast...it's a very old and somewhat charming inn right off beautiful Highway 199, and a decent place to put your head down for a night's rest. The rooms are a bit dark and the linens tired, but the bed was comfortable and the water hot - and...

The lodge itself is in a wonderful, isolated location near the Smith River (bring something to float on, the river is really exceptional). The rooms are dated, but large and relatively cozy and the grounds of the lodge are gorgeous. Our biggest gripe was the restaurant. Main courses start at about 22 bucks and they're nothing special at all -...
