Have been here several times. Clean and nice looking rooms, and pretty setting. Overall lodge and rooms are small (cozy?). Great staff and good rates. We like to cross country ski in the area and have found the lodge provides a great location to enjoy mini-getaways.

What a nice little spot right off the highway! We were in town for a wedding and we extended our stay a few nights. This place was so very peaceful. The room with the loft was a little oddly laid out, but it didn't affect us...it actually made for a nice place to work on the computer while my wife...

My husband and I stayed two nights here in January for a wedding. Although getting to the resort was a bit of an adventure thanks to some serious snow, once we were there it was lovely. We stayed in a terrace suite which was nice, although the sitting/kitchenette area upstairs was not nearly as useful as I had imagined --...

BEST part: cross-country skiing out the front door, down the snow-covered road, to the place where we could see the train track bridge crossing the river and see the river. We chose not to continue down the road closer to the river because it got steep. The part we skied was flat or gentle slopes, and straight or gentle turns,...

This resort surpassed our expectations. The entire facility is very well maintained and the architectural style is simply charming. It looks like a very high end resort and spa. We stayed in the 3 bdrm, 2 bath, Villa #2. The perfect place for a family group. To our surprise, the yard was fully fenced so we were able to let...

We had a great time! Although right off the road, you don't notice it at all from the resort's grounds. My husband and I decided to take a mini vacation here. The room is big and we were able to bring our dog . We slept downstairs and the dog upstairs in the loft!! The floors are tile so the...

This is such a beautiful place to stay and the staff was wonderful. The rooms were clean and smelled good. There is even a small bar which is very convenient. I'm already planning my next trip, I can't wait to go back!

We stayed here for one night celebrating a family members wedding, and I was pleasantly surprised at this cute place in Portola. First, I will say we didn't spend a great deal of time in our cabin due to the festivities out on the grounds, but the cabin was very clean, the bed was extremely comfortable with super comfy bedding....

Great hotel situated in a beautiful area. Resturant menu and food are excellent. Sampled some beer and had the pre-set menu for Halloween. All excellent. Highly recommend this place. Close to a number of great golf courses.

Spent the weekend at this hotel with my wife. The hotel has a lot of character from the outside but should not be considered a 4 star hotel. Here is my experience. We called hours before our arrival and confirmed the exact time of our arrival. When we got to our room it was very cold. It would have been...
