We stayed at the Cub in for 3 nights. It is a lovely B&B set in the woods with deer feeding outside in the morning. A really special place with unique and authentic decor. We stayed in the small room which had the most comfortable bed in the world! The room had a private bathroom which is just outside the...

My wife and I stayed here en route to San Francisco from Las Vegas. We actually stayed here in August 2010, so this review is well overdue! The outstanding memory was Joe's hospitality, which was so warm. After arriving and ditching our cases in our room, we then spent at least the next hour chatting to Joe on the deck,...

This was our second stay at the Cub Inn. My wife and I have decided that this is our favorite B&B of all time. Charlene and Joe are warm and welcoming. The Cub Inn is an amazing and fantasy-like structure built with traditional log construction but updated with all teh modern amenities. As you sit on the deck and smell...

We stayed here as we left Yosemite and were heading to San Francisco. This is a great way to do it, because this place is about 1 hour from Yosemite and traveling back and forth to Yosemite each day would be possible, but would cut into your sightseeing time. The house is a beautiful, recently-built log home, lovingly maintained, with...

I was a little apprehensive about staying at a B&B for the first time, but we wanted to stay somewhere special close to Yosemite, and The Cub Inn fit the bill. Joe and Char were wonderful!!! Our room ("Char's room") was clean and comfortable. We started each day with a huge, delecious breakfast, and in the evenings sat outside visiting...

The owners of The Cub Inn were very friendly and the design and decor of the B&B were great. But four house cats and one dog made for an unpleasant experience for my family. There are several pictures of cats on their website but I didn't realize the cats would be allowed to walk on the kitchen counters or sit...

Great location close to Yosemite. Joe & Charlene great hosts and very welcoming and you feel part of their home (literally). Room upstairs comfy (altho bed squeaky!) we had Deer feeding at the door which was a fabulous experience. Our only concern were the 4 cats that are indoor cats and have the run of the house, kitchen benches etc...

We needed lodging for one night on our way to visit the Yosemite, Groveland is the last town you will go through on hwy 120 prior to getting to Yosemite so the location is perfect if your goal is to stay a night somewhere and get up early and hit the road to the park. The Cub Inn is classified...

We LOVED our stay at this B and B!! Joe was so helpful and accommodating on the phone even before we arrived. When we got there he wasn't in but some current guests were. They welcomed us saying Joe and his wife were out but they were cooking dinner in his kitchen and outdoor BBQ as per Joe's OK..did we...
