This is an older property which has been well maintained. The choice of accommodation in Half Moon Bay is sad - one extremely expensive property, a handful of moderately priced places and a very few budget options. Comfort Inn is a fabulous choice in the budget category. We have stayed there twice - the first time 18 months ago. Since...

I can see why the Comfort Inn at Half Moon Bay is so highly rated. It's a nice facility right near everything in town. The rooms are clean and large, with comfortable beds. They offer free parking, WIFI, and a buffet breakfast. The service was also very good - both checking in and checking out. Only minor complaint was that...

I have stayed at this hotel three times and intend to stay again. They (the Staff) go out of their way to accommodate me. I am Veteran, who is disabled. Many times I have been able to sleep in the bed (great bed, next time going to check the label) so I have need of a recliner - which they...

I went to Half Moon Bay for a 50 year reunion of the CSM Vets Club. I chose this Comfort Inn because it was reasonable. The rooms were clean, the staff was friendly and the Breakfast was good. The only problem is trying to get across Highway 1 and go north when it is busy is somewhat frustrating. That is...

The Comfort Inn is easily accessible on Route 1. We were pleased to find warm cookies and coffee awaiting us at check in. The room is large, clean, and the bed very comfortable. The price is reasonable and we would definitely stay here again when in the area. The drive to Half Moon Bay is beautiful with rolling hills, large...

A decent stopover from driving the big sur! Restful place in an odd city...not much to see there but hotel ok. Delicious breakfast included. Top priced tho as within an hour of the city. We checked in late 10pm as a late walk in, reception guy gave us a price, we then went to car booked it online 25 dollars...

We stay at this hotel once a year and always return. It is not super-fancy, but it is clean and meets our needs. Here is a simple list of pros and cons to help you: Pros: ~Free breakfast is good. Includes little mini cheese omelets, waffles, cereal, oatmeal, yogurt, juices, coffee, milk, and tea. ~Reasonably priced ~Clean, well-maintained room ~Easy...

The Comfort Inn is right on Cabrillo Highway. It is conveniently located to downtown Half Moon Bay, beach access and great California beach trails. We had a king suite that provided a large space, sofa, great storage, large screen tv with high definition stations. The wifi was sketchy on phones. But worked great on laptops. Outlets everywhere. That was nice!...

Friendly staff, very clean room, comfortable bed, free breakfast and parking. There are a few restaurant close by as well as beaches. Easy access to HWY 1 (directly on it) so just be sure to get a room away from the road if noise is a concern.

We stayed here due to price as SF was so high, maybe due to fleet week, but not sure. It's about a half hour south of SF, but due to traffic at the 5:00pm hour it took us an hour. Our room was on the back side away from the highway. No problems with noise. Once checked in we were...
