Approaching Habanera the wrong way down a one way street we struggled somewhat to establish the location! The frontage is understated but once inside the interior decor, garden, pool and facilities are splendid. We were greeted by Michel and despite his lack of English and our basic French we were made to feel extremely welcome and immediately "at home". He...

Spending any amount of time at Habanera is a feast for the senses. Time slows, the sounds of birds chirping is amplified and the heat of a warm summer day is muted. It was the perfect place to relax, rejuvenate and replenish. The hosts are warm, gracious and attentive and the house and grounds are a series of artfully crafted...

The four of us were staying in the area for a weekend and needed someone to base ourselves. My wife likes to find places with 'character' when we travel, so she made the pick. To be honest, there isn't a lot of choice in the area, so 5-star was never going to be an option. We did have some problems...

A wonderful B&B in a lovely Townhouse. The village is quiet, very French. on the edge of the Camargue and within a few miles of the coastal autoroute. Nimes, Ponte de Gard and other famous sites are very near. We stayed 3 nights with another couple, and enjoyed it very much. Rooms are very clean, beds comfortable, garden a delight....

Beauvoisin is a quiet small town/village but Habanera is a very remarkable place. A Chambre D'Hote/B&B with about 4 rooms run by two very lovely people Michel and Mireille. The rooms are all furnished with some very beautiful old French pieces and well thought decor with a very comfortable bed. There is a very secluded garden where one has breakfast...

This was our first trip to the Camargue for many years and we can't wait to go back to stay in this beautiful house. Michel and Mireille are delightful hosts - so welcoming and eager to share the delights of this lovely region of France. Our large suite was gorgeous - with antique linens and a super bathroom. Breakfast was...

If you are looking for a piece of "real" France with charming hosts, spend a few days here. The accommodation is first class and the breakfasts prepared by Michel are a work of art. There is a very relaxing enclosed garden area and a small swimming pool. The village is totally uncommercialised but is ideal for exploring all the wonderful...

Michel and Mireille are relaxed and welcoming hosts at this lovely old vintner's house, located in the centre of a small town. Bedrooms are large, beautifully decorated and very comfortable with welcoming touches such as local sweet delicacies and small bottles of mineral water by the bedside each day and Roger & Gallet shower gels. The house has a tranquil,...

My friend and I spent two nights here in early July, as we explored the region. The hosts were, well what can we say, extremely hospitable and helpful. We enjoyed the garden area (though did not try the pool). The rooms were large and exquisite. Beautiful colours, decoration, and comfortable furnishings. They stayed cool even on the hottest days. The...

“Rooms in the front are breezy but can be noisy if windows are open at night. (we had an authentic domestic dispute just across the way one night!) The ones in the back are quieter. They are all equally lovely.”
