Einfache aber funktionale Zimmer, tolles Frühstück mit selbstgemachtem Pesto, Porridge und Blaubeer-Smoothie. Die Familie macht alles selber, sehr hilfsbereit und super freundlich. Immer für einen Plausch über Land und Leute zu haben. Tip: nicht vergessen die Saunazeit einzutragen. Absolut empfehlenswert. am nahe gelegenen See (3 Min zu Fuss) waren wir Eisfischen und Nordlichter schauen, in Laufentfernung sind Loipen, Husky- und Rentierfarmen - man kann das auto also auch einfach stehen lassen und in der Umgebung viel erleben.

Loma-Paksu is a family-run guesthouse in beautiful Köngäs village. The place has more to offer than just accommodation: yoga classes above the farm stables, husky rides, snowshoe rentals and a cross-country ski track just behind the yard! A warm welcome included a cozy room with a breakfast combined with a possibility to go traditional sauna -a possibility you don't want to miss! Highly recommend a stay here!

Mukava paikka lomailuun ja rentoiluun. Kelkkareitit lähtee pihasta. Lomapaksu tarjoaa myös muita aktiviteetteja. Hyvää ruokaa, ihana ympäristö ja ystävällisiä ihmisiä. Ulkosaunassa saa hyvät löylyt. Pihapiiristä löytyy mm. koiria, kissoja, hevosia ja lampaita.

We had such a great time staying there! The hospitality was wonderful! It is also the best place to spot Aurora Boralis. We stayed in the 100 years old barn. It was lovely and warm inside, with a lot of interesting features. We were travelling with kids age 12, 8 and a 2 months old baby. The only slight issue I had was that the shower is in an outhouse so it was tough convincing the children to go out to shower when it was -20c outside. You have to dress up in winter clothing before going into the outhouse for a shower. Other that this, this place is awesome! Nearby town in Levi which is a skiing resort, plenty of choices for restaurants and entertainment. The hotel is also located very closed proximity to the Arctic Husky farm and Reindeer farm. In these two farms you have an opportunity to go for Reindeer sleigh or a husky ride.…
