In my books, this place is a definite 'must stay'. As a travel counselor, I have been to many places and have a lot to compare to.
Upon arrival, I was met by the most pleasant hostess and was asked if I would be checking...More

I've stayed here several times over the years and always enjoy a return visit. The log cabin interior is warm and welcoming, and it's so convenient having a full kitchen. Nice view of the trees from the private deck off the back. Walls are thin...More

First of all, I do not recommend this hotel... There are others in the area for the same price, or even lower, that are WAY better maintained and managed and you will thank me later. See my review of Strawberry Creek Bunkhouse and Stone Creek Lodge, which I highly recommend.
That being said, the kitchenette is basically as follows: a sink, microwave, mini fridge, coffee machine, electric tea kettle, glasses, mugs, silverware, some plates and bowls. If you ask, they have pots and pans and a hot plate available at the front desk. I would not recommend any serious cooking here (maybe reheating last nights leftovers would be totally feasible:). If you are looking for a place to cook, I would again recommend the Stone Creek Lodge, they have a communal fully equipped dream kitchen!! Seriously, I am a chef, and this kitchen was gorgeous!!!
Have fun, Idyllwild is a blast, but choose your stay at your own risk:)
