My wife and I wanted to get away without a long drive and also to find some place special. We were able to book the Evergreen room (all the other rooms looked just as nice). We were warmly greeted by one of the owners Rod who filled us in on the Inn and local restaurants. The Inn is very cozy and...

We booked the Evergreen Room for New Year's weekend and we were not disappointed. The room has a huge fireplace, comfortable bed with multiple pillows and blankets, and a nice sized refrigerator. The Strawberry Creek is only a two minute walk from the room and is a great place to go for a walk and enjoy the views. We were...

My boyfriend and I visited Strawberry Creek Inn for a small getaway. Yes, the pictures online are great, however pictures can't describe how beautiful and amazing this Inn is. We stayed in the private cottage, which is amazing. It was so peaceful and quiet. The staff were all great and the homemade breakfast was absolutely delicious! I definitely recommend Strawberry...

This was my first visit to Idyllwild so naturally my first visit to Strawberry Creek Inn. I'd never stayed at a B/B before and I can honestly say I never really wanted to. Just not my thing. However this is a very quaint, friendly Inn. Gives you a sense of just staying with a bunch of friends. I'm not sure...

Stayed here during a May visit and it was one of the best, quiet escapes we have had. We went with another couple and were pleasantly surprised during out whole stay. The B&B is so charming and the innkeepers are very welcoming. Breakfast was amazing and we met quite a few interesting people at the breakfast table! Charming stay in...

Ian and Rodney do a great job of making this quaint old home feel cozy and welcoming, and their food was the best we ate the whole time we were in Idyllwild. Convenient to town but out of the main bustle, and plenty of places to plop down with a book and enjoy the scenery. We'd go back!

We were greeted by Innkeeper, Rodney, who checked us in and showed us to our room. We stayed in the Summer Room and found it met our needs nicely. It's at the back of the house, so there is no traffic noise from the highway. Packed with furniture, but roomy enough. We took a walk along Strawberry Creek (not running...

I highly recommend this Inn to anyone looking to have a relaxing weekend in Idyllwild. While the owners aren't the most talkative, everything else about this adorable Inn makes staying here worth it. The property is charming with hammocks, gardens and plenty of outdoor seating to read a book or have a glass of wine. Breakfast was delicious and the...

I spent a single night here on 6/28 after dropping off my son at the Idyllwild Arts Campus. The outside property is deliberately simple and disheveled. Weeds sprout alongside flowers and gravel trails featuring a number of benches, swings and other places to chill in relative serenity. Of course, said serenity is limited by the properties’ direct proximity to Highway...

Please note that as of mid December 2016, the inn is under new ownership and management. Bill, we're glad you had a great stay, despite the aging condition of the property... yes, we completely agree that Strawberry Creek Inn is in need of a face lift, more so now than almost two years ago when you last visited and wrote...

We spent two nights at the Strawberry Creek Inn in early June, a Sunday and Monday night. It had been about 15 years since our last trip to Idyllwild and we remembered passing this property on our way into town on previous trips. It always looked inviting from the road. We had one of the rooms, San Jacinto, that opens...
