WOW, what a fantastic place ! Johnetta at the front desk was SUPER !! She gave us some great tips, and was wonderful to deal with. Destiny was our server during dinner, super fun and energetic, eating outside by the fire pits was great :) Maria at the breakfast buffet was so so nice, super friendly and very accommodating. Finally, Charlie (Bellhop ?) was super as well, great info and tips about the property. We enjoyed our stay so much, we returned a few nights later for a 2nd stay.
Someone in our group had to back out of our upcoming trip. We have a room that can be transferred to your name if interested. Checking in March 7th and checking out March 10th. Let me know if you are interested. Thanks
Got lost everytime in the maze of hallways from the elevator to the hotel room. Absurdly far rooms from the elevator. Heard others complaining of this as well as we all seemed to be in an endless trek. Common areas and front desk staff are generic and impersonal. Had to move rooms due to noise; no robes or slippers in the room. The bellman were very nice and helpful. That's about the only good thing I can say about the place. The rooms were large but sterile with no atmosphere. It felt barren. Resort fees + parking fees?? I was there for a conference at a neighboring hotel, spent little time in the hotel except to sleep and didn't use any of the amenities so asked for my resort fees to be adjusted accordingly and was rudely told no.
This is a great resort. Fantastic facilities. Lovely room. Great dining options. Stellar staff. However . . . I down grade for abusive pricing. Do not charge a "resort fee." I enjoyed the resort but did not come for that. I was there for a business meeting. If the additional 20 dollars a day is crucial for the business, include it in the room. It is deceptive to promote a room rate, and then add to it! That's like charging more for cleanliness, for Pete's sake. AND THEN, there is a fee for "self-parking." I can stay at many other Marriott properties and not be charged for "the privilege" and driving there and parking. Why a Courtyard can provide parking included in the stay, and this Rennaissance can't, is not understandable. Or, perhaps, this is an additional stealth "resort fee" (?).…
Room was nice. Was seated at a dirty table in Cava (even the dishes were dirty). Received very poor service from two different servers at The Place (lobby bar/restaurant). Entire place is very noisy all the time. More of a family place, avoid if coming for business or adult trip.
I would give five rating except for one event. Comeback to my room told I needed to relocate due to water leaking issues, so I get the new key and pack my gear and lug it to the other side of the complex with no help Rooms and grounds are beautiful. Pool was fantastic during the day and evening. Staff were friendly. Not a fan of the AC blowing over your head when in bed. Also unsure the need to charge for parking with such vast space Despite those concerns expressed still a nice place to stay
Daisy Cano at the front desk went above and beyond to answer our questions and make sure we had everything for my client's business trip both before and during our stay. We were really impressed! Great customer service - appreciate her help!
This was my third time staying at this property. The ground was spectacular especially with the mountains and Breathtaking views all around. We went to the lobby bar and Augie was very helpful. The sushi was fresh! The pool was phenomenal. The rooms were comfortable during all my stay. Special shout out to David and Izzy who made my stay extremely memorable. These gentlemen went above and beyond to recommend things to do in the area. This is why I always return. Thank you for making me feel at home.
Would have addressed the following with hotel directly though TBH do not feel like performance managing on holiday and we did not receive a feedback survey on check out. Check-in: staff were unsure, check in process inefficient. Provided with hotel map that was hard to read due to amateurish design Room: booked king room for 3 adults though sofa bed mattress was bare and no linen found in room. After calling front desk, linen was dropped off outside room without knocking to let us know it had arrived, we had to make up the bed ourselves. Towels were oddly mismatched. No robes available in room which should be a basic amenity for a resort. Walls thin, could hear constant coughing on one side and blaring TV on the other. Cleanliness: Large white stain on sofa. Brown residue splattered on the inside of the shower, came off with wet washcloth. Garbage left for considerable time in hallway outside several rooms. Garbage on walkway outside pool remained for more than a day despite seeing several staff passing by. Maintenance: Long cable dangled from window track. Shower head connection was leaking so badly that it sprayed onto floor. Common spaces: Lobby very dated. Many ad hoc concrete barriers hive off valet spots making it confusing to navigate to self park spots. Did not align with expectations for a resort or Premium Marriott property…
We stayed on the 4th floor. Having visited this hotel many times over the years it seems that the cleanliness standards have dropped. We saw a used facemask and half eaten apple on the 4th floor corridor for 2 days. Hopefully the management can help to improve on this as we do like the hotel.
