DISGUSTING, FILTHY, DIRTY, SQUALOR, HORRIBLE!!! I could go on and on like this forever. This place positions itself as a “boutique resort hotel”, but in reality it’s just a very cheap and filthy motel. So, I booked a room at this place for one night to attend the BNP Paribas tournament finals. I paid a little over $300 for the night. Apparently, they were just taking advantage of the fact that so many people were attending the tournament because they normally charge $40 for those rooms. Honestly, considering how absolutely disgusting this place was, even $40 is too much. Anyway, we checked in to our room and noticed that the floors were not vacuumed, and there was an empty beer can on the patio. I called the front desk, and the guy told me that they didn’t have a housekeeper on call. What? It’s a little over 5 PM, and you don’t have a housekeeper? He offered to transfer us to a new room. The new room was equally as dirty as the first one: hair all over the floor, terrible smell, noisy old AC, broken phone. I knew I was out of luck because all the hotels in the area were booked, so I thought I’d spend the night there. We went for dinner outside of the place; I was not going to eat there after seeing all the dirt in the hallways and rooms. After we returned to the room, I noticed that the towels had stains on them, and there was hair in the bed. At that point, I knew I was not going to spend another minute at that terrible place. I preferred to drive a 100 miles to go back home and come back for the game the next morning, rather than stay at that smelly motel. I left the place around midnight. Al, the guy at the front desk, said that I’d need to call the manager and address my issues the next day because she was gone already. I called and spoke with Jennifer, the manager, the next morning and explained everything about my experience. She didn’t even apologize, although I would not expect the manager of such an establishment to show any signs of professionalism, manners, or class. She processed a partial refund and stated that only the general manager, Elvis, could help me with a full refund inquiry. Elvis was supposed to call me today, but never did. I even left a message on his voicemail today. Instead, someone from their company sent me an email stating that would only refund me for their “weekday rate with resort fee”. No “hello”, “thank you”, or an apology for the nightmare I had to go through. They refused to refund the remaining $98. On top of that, their records falsely show that we actually ended up spending the night at the motel and checked out the next morning. Absolute lack of integrity! Obviously, there was no point of trying to deal with them anymore. I contacted my credit card company and filed a complaint through BBB. Please stay away from this place if your health and safety matter to you!!! Shame on the entire management team and the staff.

Very clean rooms, poor breakfast as a choice, excellent bar restaurant with live music. Very particular environment including the furnishing of the common areas. Clean pool. Quiet and very nice area. I'll be back

The hotel have seen it's better days. You can visibly see the MAJOR renovations that need to be done. Overall, I had a pleasant experience. I was skeptical about the resort after reading all the negatives reviews but I'm happy we stayed. The staff is hospitable and accommodating. The parking is $10 daily and the resort fee is $39 daily. The water from the faucet is cloudy thus why the pool water is cloudy (not attractive). The complimentary breakfast was decent except for the cold potatoes. The breakfast burrito was delicious. Jennifer, front desk, was pleasant and always smiling and helpful. Unfortunately, the resort sits across from a brand new Hyatt resort that is spectacular. Looking at it, you feel a bit jealous. Although, this resort is more reasonably priced. Based on the reviews, you may get lucky or you may have a horrible experience. Thankfully, we had a full adventure away from the resort and only used it to shower and sleep. Good luck!

My sister and I, on a whim, and having never ventured to Palm Springs, or it’s vicinity, we booked a room for $55 (however, there are many $ +++). Upon arrival, the lobby area and reception was quite glam indeed, very reminiscent of an iconic Intercontinental hotel. Given that this hotel owes its heritage, in part, to Lucille Ball, there’s a serenity that welcomes you and I must impress upon you now how wonderful every single member of staff was (Shout out to Manny…outstanding bartender!)…check in was a pleasure, our room, a delight. My sister and I work in the industry so naturally we gave it the once over…spotless! It’s been a while since I’ve been able to say that! We had a cocktail in the room and proceeded to the pool, being that it was 110f I thought we would cool down but the water was very warm, nice though but somewhat cloudy. Hot springs water I guess?! If you love to play, and are proficient at golf, you’d love it! The golf course here is littered with trees, I’ve never seen one like it! Couple of pointers for improvement…$18 for a pizza or sandwich is just ridiculous! Cocktails well overpriced…even happy hour! We had 2 Margaritas each and $35 later… The plumbing I the bathroom wasn’t so great and needs a revamp. And I was particularly looking forward to the continental breakfast but we they were ‘sold out’ and only had three hot breakfast options (burrito, eggs bacon etc). However, our server was so accommodating, we just wanted some toast and bacon…delicious! The bar doesn’t officially open till 3pm but the servers will get you a ‘hair of the dog’ should you so need…my sister and I certainly did! We got a free hours late check out (no quibble) and with heavy hearts left what was a great wee stay at this very charismatic and chill hotel. 😁 It would have allocated a 5* rating had it not been for the overpriced food and drink and bathroom issues, but the service, room and overall presentation was actually quite excellent. I strongly recommend and I’m already looking forward to my next stay 🍹 P.S … beware the bottled water in the room…it’s not free! They have a sneeky tag on the top charging you $2,95 for the privilege!

I have been staying at this hotel for years. Aside from the complete lack of investment, renovation and amenities, the major disappointment was the realization that housekeeping, protected by the general manager, are stealing credit cards and other items. An organized petty theft crime ring operates out of this hotel. The GM and other staff are complicit, and they run interference for the housekeeping staff. Our phones and CC were stolen by the staff and within an hour, thousand$ were charged at multiple locations in the surrounding area. We tracked the phones to the HOUSEKEEPING plant, and the SUPERVISOR admitted to throwing the phones in the dumpster. They led me to the dumpster and told me if I wanted the phones, I had to dig through the trash to find the phones. I speak spanish, so I could understand their conversations about how they were all going to be arrested. This activity has clearly been taking place for a long time. We reported the crime to the hotel management, and Elvis (the GM) refused to cooperate and he protected the staff. When we requested to see the security manager, they informed us that the HOTEL HAS NO SECURITY AT ALL. He refused to let us view the footage, so we called the Riverside Sherriff. Then, Elvis refused to allow the surveillance cameras, which clearly showed the crime, to be viewed by the deputy. They continued to blame a phantom vagrant for the crime. When we inquired further, they evicted us from the hotel. Case referred for special investigation and prosecution. Civil suit to follow. I have slept on better mattresses in combat zones. This place is a hole. Sad, because it used to be very enjoyable.
