We stayed here for a couple of days just a few days ago, it's our second time and we hope very much that it won't be the last. Everything here is remarkable; the building - a sixteenth century fortified farmhouse, the beautifully furnished bedrooms, the lounge and TV room and the magnificent continental breakfasts. Elsbeth and Chris are great hosts...

I came back here for the third time last week. It's always a pleasure, quiet, lovely views of the surroundings. The buildings are looking even better, and as ever Elsbeth and Chris looked after us superbly.

We stayed at Canel for 4 nights and from start to finish we were very impressed. The owners Elsbeth and Chris were very accomodating and made sure we had everything we needed. Breakfast was fresh everyday and our bedroom was spotless. The decor of Canel is nice and modern yet French chic - stunning brickwork inside and comfortable beds. The...

This is a wonderful place to stay, a renovated chateau with spacious comfortable rooms, fantastic fresh French breakfast, a beautiful pool and surrounded by gorgeous sunflower fields, hayfields and grazing cows. A very picturesque and relaxing environment. Guests can enjoy an espresso or glass of wine from the kitchen while gazing at the lovely landscape or relaxing by the pool....

A former fortified farmhouse, Le Canel has been superbly restored. It's comfortable and modern where it needs to be, and completely retains its character. Beautiful views, quiet rural location, great welcome.

Wonderful and very special chateau accommodating members attending Lot Music 2015. Nothing is too much trouble for the owners Elsbeth and Chris. The bedrooms rooms light airy and spacious and excellent breakfast provided. We had extreme heat up to 40 degrees so the bedrooms were a little difficult to keep cool but otherwise really comfortable. We will be back next...

This bed and breakfast found purely by googling the area turned out to be quite the most loveliest place to spend the night. I would have been very happy to spend weeks there. I was warmly welcomed and shown around the amazing house, so beautifully renovated, spotlessly clean and so comfortable. There was a lovely pool to cool off in...

A lovely place to stay as we were passing by! The house is newly renovated with great taste and the pool area was excellent after a long day in the car! In the evening we were recommended a fantastic musical festival in the nearby Town. Truly recommend this place!

Hello Family of Six from Sweden, Thank you for your kind review. We're happy that you enjoyed your stay here and the musical evening in Tournon d'Agenais. Next time when you come down to France we'll see if we can find a golf course for you in the area, so you can stay a bit longer! Kind regards, Elsbeth.
