The Julian lodge is just off the main street. Perfect location for privacy and close enough to downtown you can leave your car at the lodge and walk everywhere. The rooms are very cozy and the beds comfortable. the staff is friendly helpful and very nice. My wife and I stay at the Julian lodge every time we go to...

We choose the Julian Lodge as the place to spend our evening in Julian. The staff were friendly. The room simple but clean. The only negative was that our upstairs neighbors were noisy as hell, At least they quieted down between 10 and 8 so at least we got a decent nights sleep. The hotel itself was great and we'd...

We stayed in this lodge on the long weekend....Our room was in the second floor, and from balcony we had nice view to the ranches. I remember we stayed here 8 yrs ago. Still the same. Room are small but comfort. Breakfast was included. Kitchen looks Rustic and heartwarming. Kids loved it. I recommend this place to whom looking for...

Made our annual Christmas trip Julian to enjoy our Family who are locals. Roni still manages the property and the level of service is excellent. She is knowledgeable about Julian and the area as well as very personable. The rooms are warm and inviting as well clean with room to move around. The furniture fits the "Olde time" feeling of...

This property is right in the center of town and probably THE place to stay. The rooms are cozy and quiet (we had the Queen double) and very budget-friendly. The manager, Roni, is very nice and accommodating, with suggestions for things to do. Breakfast is continental style and quick and easy. This is the place to stay in Julian.

Loved the location how cozy it feels and the level of up keep. Really enjoyed this Lodge. The only negative sides are stairs so if you have luggage it is a pain, I just took things for the night and left luggage in the trunk. I prefer home cooked breakfast and it is not, my friend loved it on the...

Julian is a small old gold mining town and to get away from the hustle and bustle of our daily life, we took a nice drive and stayed at the Julian Lodge. The lodge is older but has been remodeled in the rooms. Our room was a queen, had a small desk, a flat screen tv, a dresser and a...

Rooms are funky and quiet. No views. We rented the King Suite. Big enough to play football. But handicap bathroom has nowhere to put soap or shampoo. Ridiculous!!! And the breakfast was pure supermarket level which is nuts in a 1 block town w 5 bakeries. And no eggs. Really a lousy high carb meal.

Hello Bob, Thank you for taking the time to provide us feedback on your stay. You were in our King Suite, which is very large and offers a ADA accessible shower, I will look into putting in a shower caddy for the future. I'm sorry to hear you were disappointed with our breakfast. We do make every effort to offer...

The owners did a great job of making this lodge seem very private and quiet, yet when you want to mingle or enjoy a beverage in the living room area it's so warm and inviting. Our room was decorated beautifully but the breakfast is what prompted me to write the review. The antiques in the breakfast room were charming, they...
