We spent the weekend with our car club and took about 13 rooms. Hotel clerk was very nice and quick to check everyone in. Continental breakfast was included and in a nice gathering room. Our room was very nice cozy. Some others had larger rooms that had a small refrigerator and microwave. Hotel right in town which is very convenient... More

We spent the Labor Day weekend in Julian for a wedding, and stayed at the Julian Lodge. We had the chance to visit most of the other facilities in town, where other guests were staying, and The Julian Lodge is by far the nicest. It's a clean, comfortable, modern motel with prompt, friendly service and a very creditable included breakfast... More

I stayed here on the July 4th weekend. First off, I arrived before check in time and was given a room on the 1st floor. When I came back after enjoying some site seeing they had moved me to a better room on the 2nd floor. There was no parking at the time and the receptionist offered to move her... More

We stayed here at the Julian Lodge on a recent vacation. We stayed one night in Julian and chose this place. This property fits in perfectly with the rest of the town. It has got that down home feel to it. The front desk staff was great and gave us plenty of advice on the area. The room was perfect... More

Good location, breakfast and room. It was clean and comfortable. First time to Julian and I had a wonderful visit. The breakfast had fresh backed pastries, toast, waffles to heat up, fresh fruit, bagels, cold cuts, cheese and more of the same.

Not really a B&B. The room was nice enough. The coffee pot was not cleaned out from the previous occupant. We were there for the Sunday breakfast. The meat and cheese offered in addition to their regular breakfast were nothing to write home about... just cold cuts. The Waffles were the Eggo type and there were cold pancakes you could... More

After a while we came to this place. It's nice to come to this place and find this hotel still so beautiful in your world. Furniture and equipment of the hotel evoke the atmosphere of the last century. After a quiet night you go to a small reception for breakfast and you feel like you're visiting her aunt, who ran... This is probably one of the best b&Bs /small motel I've stayed in over my 60 years. Our room was right by the ice machine, so I was worried but we never heard any noise. Strong shower which seems rare in California motels/inns/high end hotels. Good toiletries. Friendly and responsive hosts for check in. Great assortment of good food for... More

Stayed for 1 night only, over the New Year holiday. Very quiet and quaint little B&B. We had the suite room #114, and it was tremendously huge. The bed was very comfortable as well. Great location and nice staff. Breakfast was a little lighter than what I would have expected, but the cost of the room was so reasonable and... More

This was our third visit to the Julian Lodge. Parking is free and well located for visiting historic Julian as well as the one night stay and back to the highway. The rooms on the back side are just a bit more quiet. But the front room offer views of Julian. Roni and Seth were very helpful and offered a... More
