We received a very warm welcome from the lady standing in for the proprietors, who were away. Parking was a little mucky in the wet weather at that time and the steps down to the property, which is separate from the main house, was a little precarious. Nevertheless, the room is spacious, clean & tidy and more than adequate. The...

If you are looking for a B&B experience where you visit with the owners and other guests over breakfast, don't come here. The room was OK, although we did not get the room I had requested and reserved (not sure why that happened), but breakfast was not in a common area, it was two muffins on the countertop in the...

I was absolutely amazed at the charming atmosphere of this place--then on top of that, the price was VERY reasonable. I was told that it was a five-minute walk to town, and I thought, yeah, right, so I timed myself and walked to the first restaurant and it was LITERALLY five minutes! It's hidden, it's quaint, it's a treat for...

What a lovely place this is, I will be coming back here next month too. The room was so cute and the views amazing, I'm a fan. The grounds are secluded and you can walk right into the town in two minutes I'd suggest this spot to anyone that wants a quiet get away.

Pros Charming, well-appointed and theme-decorated, spacious room; mini fridge, table/chairs, small assortment of flatware/plates, *great* bed, darling corner pot belly stove electric heater, clean bathroom. Incredibly artistic and quiet place to stay, pool/spa amazingly hand- crafted. Great night’s rest; regretted to have time only for one night. Super clean; carpet and all of inside, from construction to fridge to décor,...

Just a block off the highway, but a quaint place with a nice room. Just a few blocks to town where you can get a meal or Julian's famous apple pie. They provide an in-room continental breakfast (fresh bagel/muffin wrapped and in-room coffee pot.)

I only wish I had known how many steps I had to go down to get to the room. If you have issues with stairs or want peace & quiet this is not the place for you. I came home limping. The room was very clean, the property is nice. The spa & waterfall were not working. Room 1 is...

Tucked away on a tree-lined hill just outside of main street Julian, the Oak Hill Inn is a beautiful, peaceful hideaway in the country. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet, the nighttime stars bright and plentiful, and had its own private oak-shaded patio. The in-room breakfast consisted of fresh Dudley's Julian Apple Nut bread, which you toast to your...

B & B was just like the photos. I booked two rooms and got the rooms I wanted. Easy to walk to Julian. Beds were comfortable. Bath very clean and well stocked with all the extra items you might need. The owner, Bill, showed us to our rooms and showed us the extra room by the pool to hang out...

They were completely accommodating! The room was great! Unique and cute! It had it's own private patio! The property is Beautiful,...

Located within a five minute stroll to the center of the historic town-site of Julian, California, Oak Hill Inn is considered by many to be the best value for an enjoyable weekend or weekday get-away to Julian. Oak Hill Inn provides rustic charm with modern comforts within easy walking distance to downtown Julian. Close to town, yet just far enough to avoid the hustle and bustle of Main Street to provide for a relaxing getaway. Julian lies in the center of some of Southern California's most striking scenery. It's just an hour's beautiful drive east of San Diego... And a world away from the city. Visit for a day or longer to discover its charms. There's lot to do, plenty of hiking, wineries, dining options or perhaps visit a real gold mine or take in the views of Lake Cuyamaca. Oak Hill Inn is one of the few accommodations in Julian that offers the luxury of relaxing beside a private guests-only swimming pool (in season). Some of the other amenities our guests enjoy are spacious rooms with private bathrooms, flat screen tvs with cable, mini refrigerators, private patios and private entrances.
