Oscar and Susan are my favorite care takers so far for this lodge. I've been coming here for the last 7 years or so and experienced all 3 care takers. The owners of the lodge has always done well with each team they have chosen. But my most recent experience here at the lodge was by far the best. Of...

Stayed in March wanting to see Sequoias. Total bust since the roads are closed till essentially summer. Our stay was comfortable and all the basics were there: kitchenette, satellite TV, outdoor grills, pair of Queen beds. Clean rooms. Towels smelled a little mildewy.

We had rented 2 rooms here for our family ranging from kids to grandparents. This was a stop on our way to Death Valley but turned out to be our favorite place during the vacation! The cabins are nice and functional, people are friendly and the location - breathtaking! Its an arm's length from the river - so beautiful and...

We had a great stay. The owners definitely show pride when it comes to this little lodge. It's very clean and the décor was awesome. Nice patios with a fire pit. River flows right behind it. Would definitely come back.

lovely place to stay, near the small town of kernville,5 mins drive away.We ate our breakfast on the patio outside our room each morning, watching the humming birds, where barbeques are provided. The manager Susie is very helpful. We upgraded to a larger room, with a small kitchen area, providing cutlery and crockery, tea towels and some washing up liquid. Very clean and comfortable. We...

We started here at the end of a 3 week trip to the US and Canada and it was the perfect place to finish. It is in a beautiful location, with the Kern river just a 2 minute walk, which is lovely for swimming, and also the best sights of the Sequoia National Forest are only a short drive away....

A case of serendipity led us to the Sequoia Lodge. Clearly this is an older property..but the room was nicely decorated, comfortable and beyond clean. Truly I don't think Ibe ever seen an entire property, in such a rustic setting, cleaner. Not so much as a spider web outside. I don't know how they do it :0) The outside patio...

We stayed one lovely night on our way to the Grand Canyon. The rooms have kitchenettes and were very clean and spacious. It is a nice place to stay on the river. The owners were very nice. Breakfast at the general store across the street is also good. We would recommend staying here.

This place was a wonderful surprise! This was just about as perfect a spot to hang out for a few days as one can imagine. Swim and pan for gold in the river with the kids, visit the giant sequoias, grill up some burgers, and sit around the fire pit and chill and enjoy the fantastic mountain views. The caretakers...
