4 friends and I travelled to Sihanoukville the beginning of January 2012. We booked to stop in the Malibu House for 3 nights. We had our own individual rooms which after checking out we quickly decided to book ourselves in the hotel next door. The security on the rooms was a screw in the door frame and door with a...

We wanted to stay here for two nights and told them as well as we wrote the departure date in the guestbook. First of all we had to pay for one night in advance, what is not very common in guesthouses or hotels usually. After the first night we went on a boat trip. When we came back in the...

We paid $30 per night during a holiday which is way too much. Observations: 1. Holes in towels and sheets 2. Room had not been cleaned in a while, plenty of hairs and spider webs visible on check-in 3. Toiled lid on the ground, seat half off toilet 4. Very little water pressure but was warm enough 5. AC does...

I am currently staying at the HoM. For $15, I get a clean room, second floor, ocean view, free Wifi, cable TV, hot shower, fridge, closet and fan/ac. I find it to be a good value for my money. I don't usually make res when traveling, because I find myself switching places quite often. So here, I checked out the...

Horrible! Old, run down, unsafe. Next door to JJ's Playground which plays LOUD, techno/dance music from 10 pm till 6:11 am. Earplugs don't help. The curtains are made of thin, blue, see-through material, so we couldn't sleep in the morning either. There are many hotels / guesthouses / bungalows that are much nicer.

We have been in House of Malibu (Angel) for 7 days. We arrived in the night from Vietnam and we booked a hotel and didn't care. Only want to have a bed. So next morning we started to search a nice hotel at the beach. We went with a Tuktuk-Driver for couple of hours and checked many many rooms and...

We stayed 3 nights at this hotel and we were very satisfied. The rooms were clean and we had a nice view over the sea from the bedroom. The room didn't have air-conditioning but we didn't see it as a problem - the fan was good and the climate is a bit cooler by the sea. The location was exellent...

I don't book hotels in Asia and for a very good reason...you never know what you are getting. Having checked out the other places on Serendipity Beach we chose the House of Malibu as the rooms appeared to be of better value than what we were shown elsewhere. They also dropped the price from $35 to $25 per night due to...

We stayed here for a couple of nights, once sharing the infamous Mr Hanky room with friends, and one night (on New Year's Eve) we were in the manager's room (because they promised us a booking but didn't take our names, even after we asked two times to). Both rooms were ok, but if you're afraid of poo that won't...

We stayed at the House of Malibu from 27/12/07 to 01/01/08. Accommodation right on the beach on Sihanoukville was very full at that time, so we were lucky to get a room. We could not fault the location - only 100 metres from the entrance to Serendipity Beach, and a deck only metres from the ocean. We stayed in the...
